Hi everyone, I feel like I’ve missed a lot. I’ve only been playing Halo for 6 months. I’ve beaten Halo CE and Halo 2, but have no Halo books or other games. I am saving for a Xbox One with the Halo Collection, but still could you tell me what I should know at the moment? I just don’t know that much about Halo, besides for the plot of Halo CE and Halo 2. Anyway, don’t tell me about any sequels, just what I should know about Halo 1 and Halo 2.

You definetly should read HALO: The Fall Of Reach.
It’s really great and explains a lot without ruining any of the sequels.
Or just buy the Halo:Encyclopedia.
If you want, you could read Halo: First Strike.
This book fills the gap between Halo 1 and 2, and tells how Master Chief made it back to Earth.
Just play through Halo 1-4 and you’ll have everything you need. Though playing Reach and ODST adds as well.
