I feel like the only person here who plays halo 5

for Halo 5. Not the REQ system. I see so many people complaining that “there’s too many REQs” “REQs make Halo 5 awful” “Grinding for 100% completion is flawed” etc etc. Now first off, I don’t care for Warzone so the weapons and boosts I sell off when I open any REQ pack. For the perm unlocks like emblems and armor, that’s cool to get, but I sure as hell don’t play Halo 5 to unlock everything. Didn’t grind in Halo 3, Halo Reach, or Halo 4, and don’t plan on doing it for Halo 5. No, I play Halo 5 because I like Halo 5. If they removed the REQ system and removed all the armor, assassinations, stances, etc, I would still play Halo because it’s freakin’ sweet.

I unlocked everything available in the req system until the next update. I still play the game just as much as I did prior to completing the certs. I also play halo because I like halo. Reqs are just a fun little side perk for me.

I would still play it if they removed the REQ system, because surely there’d be unlocks tied to rank or achievements… right?

lol gud one.

even then, I’m no achievement hunter so I wouldn’t care either if achievements were removed from XB1/PS4

I can’t stand warzone or the req system, I simply sell every single req I get. I just play for arena nowadays.

I’m only grinding certain playlists to try and unlock the Argus helmet

same.

then again, I’ve been playing Halo since Halo CE and never was into BTB. Warzone is very similar to BTB where I end up having to babysit everyone, not my idea of having fun.

If there was no unlock sytem or level up sytem while i do like halo i would never play it

I’d go to r/halo. Discussions there are a bit more positive, and those who bash others for no real reason are usually dealt with better than over here. Plus, Bravo and some ot the devs have talked there than they do here.

Yes, they do get their share of complaints, but the quality of discussion is usually better than here.

I play Halo because it’s the only game I can do cool -Yoink- like this! And this!

I buy halo games for it’s campaign. The multiplayer is just an bonus.

That was a delicious video.

I play it for the fun as well. I was fine with the campaign (yeah, some things could’ve been done better, but happy overall), I like Arena, and love Warzone. I like the REQ’s from a weapon/vehicle perspective. I can pull out stuff to fit the situation, or just because I like it (Nornfang…heheheh). Warzone Turbo is better because you can do that sooner and more often, but regular Warzone is OK. And Super Fiesta was an absolute BLAST - can’t wait to see it back in rotation.

holy -Yoink- we should be friends. I thought my and my circle of halo buddies were the only ones that felt this way.

No. Im done playing this game. Not beacuse I dont like it, but because my gold ran out

I am a true Halo addict… I play almost daily. I love war zone, especially turbo wish is was a permanent playlist, also FFA and btb at times. I still play MCC from time to time. I even go back to Halo Wars, Spartan Assault, Reach(only for Firefight). I love getting Halo achievements. To me there is no other franchise as immersive as Halo has been. Between the games, books, content on waypoint (online and the Xbox 360 app which was awesome), the Halo Channel, the live action movies, comics, animated series, spin offs such as Red vs Blue ( I own all 13 season on DVD) … the list goes on and on for Halo.

Not everyone needs babysitting.

Well the req system adds an addicting aspect, which completionists (like me) fall victim to. Without it I’d still be playing halo 5 for the sake of halo 5 only, but probably not as frequently.
