After loading up the game and being super excited. To me the first few hours I’ve been like blah. When you load up old halos you have somewhat customization and better control of your customization. With the battle pass heroes of reach being behind a paywall to unlock anything instead of looking at a bear Spartan if you don’t have the money currently to buy it. To be really honest not to mention the grind to unlock anything. Is super terrible. Especially if your friends are all basically the same battle pass tier and y’all unlock it at the same time basically equipping it at the same time and you all look alike. Kind of kills the immersion if you ask me. I know it’s not technically technically the official release. But I can only imagine season 2 of the battle pass being master chief of the past and having nothing but Halo 3 armor. Same thing with Halo 2. And it’s not really getting any new armor until season 4 if we’re lucky. The grind the progression and the battle pass is pure laziness if you ask me.
yes, there should be am xp mechanic, with completing games. my friends all lost motivation in grinding bc the challenges are inconsistent. i love halo and i always will, but if you want to hook people in more into putting more hours in the game, you should add a xp mech. i love the game but when i see that i gained no xp i lose motivation and i go play destiny 2.
