Let me guess this right, after all the hard work and sacrifices made by the 343 industries development team, these past 6 years and through a global pandemic non the less. You so called “Halo fans” would rather their work be looked at by Microsoft as a failure. Cause this is what would happen if they released the campaign after the Christmas holiday season. Will less sales, PR, marketing these go against cost of making the game and will affect their profit margins. Thus, their tremendous effort by them and their families will of been for nothing, even though everyone will get the co-op and forge free on gamepass. I want 343 to not delay, and to stay on target so they can be a financial success for the work they are doing and to help create newer games.
I want a game, with much content, better I say, more content like recent games like Reach or Halo 3.
When Halo 3 and Reach both have a file share, cinema, forge, playable elites and ODST/Reach came with Firefight, SINCE RELEASE!
Now I get a game for full prize without co-op campaign and forge which will be sold us as “free” content then like in Halo 5, with - I guess - no Firefight, no playable elites [which is a big wish of the community], cinema, file share.
And by the way, I’m also sure they messed up with the costum games costumization.
I was never hyped for Infinite but I’m pissed that I’m now so angry because 343 can’t release a good, high-quality Halo with huge amount of content - again.
Don’t tell me, they needed ALL personal for the engine for 3 years, had another 3 years of game-developing and still are not able to release a full game? That’s a huge joke.
More over it’s sad that - for sure - from day zero there will be microtransactions.
I just want to play a good game
I agree that we should appreciate the hardworking devs and it’s the fault of the leaders. At the same time this is a product and as consumers we have the right to criticize.
I feel that it’s not the problem of the devs. It’s the problem of the management.
The problems are coming from the top. Someone was so certain that Co-Op would be in the launch title that they affirmed and re-affirmed it. How did they draw these conclusions unless they were seeing really good results from that department? And what exactly went wrong? The lack of information just leaves us to assume that 343i is incompetent, and again the bosses should be doing something about that public image, but ah…
DOOM Eternal released in the spring after being delayed from a November release date and managed to do incredibly well. The people who want to play the game will play it regardless of when it releases.
