I feel bad when I die?

When I play video-games, I always like to pretend that I am actually in a way, living the game. I love ODST’s so I made my Spartan one in Reach, and since Halo takes a long time from now. I made up a story of me going into a cryochamber and being awakened a few centuries after.

Since I pretend that I actually am my Spartan, I always feel kind of . . . “sad” when I die. Is this just me, or does anyone else share this?

I think you’re taking the game a tad too seriously. Remember Spartans never die they just respawn.

lol, that is true. But if I pretend like the game is real, (I don’t take the game that seriously like I know it’s a game, but I play using decisions that I would have if I was in a real war) I play quite a lot better. I take cover, sprint when I need to instead of just respawning, running into the middle of the battlefield trying to kill as many Spartans as possible before dying. When I play like it is real a bit, I try to kill as many Spartans as possible without dying.

Whenever I die, I just go like, "Oh crap, I died. That sucks. I hope I never die like that in real life. :frowning: "

I think I’ll like Halo 4 a bit better because it’s just considered to be a training simulation program thingy.
