Well 343 are idiots if they do not show one. It is 343 day the 343rd day of the year, they said in the Bulletin they have a surprise for us. In Anniversary on the bulletin board on Pillar of Autumn it had today as a date and Had a picture of the Halo 3 legendary ending.
They shouldn’t had hyped it so much if they weren’t going to show anything. If they weren’t they should have had the common sense to deny it.
They are going to show something.
I am losing hope since this year reveals seem to be a little disapointing… come on who cares about spiderman, transformers, Command & Conquer and Tony Hawk? the only ones really interesting of the anounced for me are Alan wake, epic new game and MGSrising… and the show will seem hollow without Halo…

Come on it’s Halo, more importantly it’s showing where Halo will be going in the future, you honestly think they’d show something and not advertise it before the VGAs. If they are going to do anything Halo 4 related it will be tiny, don’t expect a trailer
I for one plan on no trailer this week end, so not I’m not hyped up the whole damn time, and get disappointed if there is no trailer. And I also plan on having a good laugh if there turns out to be no trailer, and there’s a lot of threads here full of rage over no trailer.
But, if there is a trailer, then after it is aired, I’ll get hyped over it.

MGS Rising,Alan and the new Epic IP. But i dont understand 343 why there is no halo4 trailer? A Halo4 trailer at the end of the show would be awesome!

kiki wolfkill and frankie already said that would not be any trailer for now…but its true that they should show a trailer in-game to build the hype… like with halo reach: teaser at e3 2009, in game trailer at vga 2009 and finally gameplay at e3 2010. that being said it’s also true that a surprise trailer at the vga would have the WOW factor that the leak stole from the e3 debut…

there will probably a beta before e3 2012
I didn’t see it on a commercial this week, but last week on a commercial for VGA, I saw them advertising Halo 4 for a couple of seconds in the list of games that they had for reveals.

Can you naysayer please explain why there was Halo 4 trailer footage hidden in the Spike VGAs 2011 announce trailer?
I guarantee the first gameplay we see is goin to be 3 seconds of a precision weapon shooting a head and the reticle not moving at all lol
