As much as I respect for 343 for their decisions… but fall 2021 seems a long wait without any other new halo game inbetween then… i say the artstyle looks great just my hype has died down. Im hoping it offers the best expirence in multiplayer and campaign… battles bigger then any other halo in the campaign. Not just chief and a few marines and sentinels vs the banished or other threats. Think of halo 3 the covenant mission and the ark but more bigger!!
Im quite down that its a fall release not spring… but I rather this be as completed at launch like the classic halo games as well as halo 4 content wise!!
I think had the game released on schedule it would have flopped. Even bar the business of the current world events, I really feel that this game wouldn’t have done well at all.
Giving them a slight change in management and pushing the game back gave me a sigh of relief. I still hold my sceptical thoughts but at least now we are going to steer in a fresh yet familiar direction.
I look forward to more info coming out after the holidays.

Exactly. As skeptical as I am about this game, id rather wait than have another game I’ll play for a day and never play again because it was so mishandled
We have waited this long already, I think the delay was the right move. The game clearly needed more time. Perfection takes time. Plus they have Joseph Staten now!!
It’ll be worth the wait, and after reading todays post, I am wayyyyy more confident!!
We may have multiplayer flights before the release. Hopefully, that can hold the community over.
Honestly I’ll be okay with wait until Fall 2021, Cyperpunk 2077 delays I can thank for that

I’m just still baffled that it’s six years between mainline Halo game releases. I get that the complications of COVID cause a lost year+, but let’s not forget that there were six years between the releases of Halo CE and Halo 3.
That’s a massive evolution of gaming from 2001-2007 and in this case (2015-2021) - we’re still just waiting for the sequel.
I fully agree with 343’s decision to release the game until fall of the following year, as the lack of advancement the game has had during the recent gameplay was evident.
It is a good decision I want a content complete game with a road map of future content that means something full of events and legitimate dlc worthy of keeping us engaged, not a road map of future content that should have been in the game at launch like forge, customs, and theater mode…
