There I said it. I like what they’ve added, and I’m afraid that you purists will -Yoink- and moan enough that 343 will take everything out.

I don’t think you understand, you are not even a Halo fan you are a fan of Sci FI Call of Duty. The real Halo fans are the ones who like classic halo. The real halo fans are the ones who do get mad when 343 changes things in Halo that shouldn’t be changed. The fake Halo fans, like yourself, are the ones who really don’t care what halo is like as longa s it is easy to get kills in.
And if they do keep the game going in the direction of Halo 4 then I hope you have fun with your 4,000 player popualtion and only being able to play Team slayer because the other playlists have too low of popualtions to find a match
So even if something doesn’t work or breaks the game, keep it in? That’s foolishh.

Halo 4 is a good game if you vote for gametypes without infinity settings. Halo 5 looks great. I’m look forward to playing with the new additions. If Halo 1 is so great why did they change it for Halo 2? If Halo 2 was the peak then why did they add more for Halo 3?
Something to keep in mind might be this.
While there may be a number of vocal upset people, that does not mean there isn’t an equal or even greater number of people who are silent and happy.
We will see what happens after the beta, but I think a lot of people here might just be overreacting a little, and after the beta they might calm down and some of them might even like it. We’ll just have to wait and see. I don’t think the negative assessments being given are very fair when they haven’t played it and also the information is so new.
If you like it, well that’s great and that was the overall goal. (I like it too)
And if you hate it, respectfully explain why. I don’t see this forum doing that a lot and it does unfortunately make the majority of people who are concerned about Halo 5 look like “whiners”. I want clear, concise, and organized arguments against it if there is something to complain about. Not, for example, 15 threads about the same things where people are saying Halo 5 has ADS when it does not, so now they are all arguing about something that isn’t even in the game and they look silly.

You have very little insight on the way it is going other than it looks more like halo 4 than halos 1-3. Hating on new things isn’t what classic fans do. Hating on unnesscary things is what we do. Judging your inital post, backing things you have no clue about is what you do, good job.

Really? Because I have been with halo since Halo CE. I’ve play every game read every book/comic beside Broken Circle and guess what I love what 343i is doing with Halo 5. The stuff that I have see so far are thing that I’ve been dreaming of doing in halo from the first time I learned what a Spartan is and what they can do. So your definition of a “Real Halo Fan” is going to have to be very selective for it to ever be correct.
Also The fact that you believe Halo 5 is going down the same road as Halo 4 shows your ignorance toward not only what we have seen in Halo 5 so far but toward the thread that you have personally been debating in and the people in those thread supporting this games.

PS Halo Ce-2-3 are just Halo’s gameplay core (I love it, and my favourite Halo game is Halo 3),but 343i has to add something new, and Halo 5 beta looks great! Halo 5 is actually more similar to Halo 2-3 than Halo 4
