So I just saw a video saying how Halo hasn’t changed which is kind of what I was saying in past post I don’t see anything wrong with adding new stuff to Halo like weapon attachments these weapon attachments I mention wouldn’t turn your weapons into one shot kill weapons these attachments would be minor improvements like one that slightly improved your ammo capacity or maybe one that would allow the pistol to kill with one less shot in fact some games are successful because they didn’t stay the same going all the way back to Mario for the Nintendo is a good example in the first game you had to powers one that increase your size and one that allowed you to throw fireballs in the next game you had more powers and in the third game you had yet again even more people loved it
There was just a topic about attachments here:
In that topic I commented saying that it would make it feel too much like COD, so I’m not for it. And thats the same reason I didn’t like load outs in H4.

I don’t agree here, especially in Halo’s case, game franchises are successful typically because of a definitive formula that’s been molded over the years. While it is true innovation can be great for a stale franchise, it doesn’t always work. Take for example when Halo reach had just finished its run and Halo 4 came out, Halo reach was a Peak halo game that was beloved by most, however, it was still without critics. Look at the things it did to Halo as a game series, it added loadouts, the DMR, got rid of the BR, added armor abilities, etc. While they were innovating not everyone liked it, I would say the majority did like the game because it didn’t change the power dynamic too much, power weapons were still important, grenades were still important, loadouts didn’t break the game. Now look at Halo 4, arguably the worst Halo game in the franchise other than Halo 5, they went way overboard with the innovation, they added custom loadouts, you were able to put any grenades on, any pistol on, they added even more broken armor abilities, sprint, etc. You could run BR with plasma grenades and a plasma pistol and you would spawn with them every time you spawn, the power balance was absolutely ruined. The original formula was so broken so nobody cared for the game and the franchise was at an all time low in popularity and it didn’t get any better with Halo 5.

I just think you people on here don’t like change simple as that and this idea of mine would be for campaign and would stay out of PvP
