So the pre order bonus is a blue Spartan with a white tech suit, looks good and all but what happens in team based modes where my Spartan is completely red or completely blue? Do the pattern stays? What’s the point of having a blue skin if it’s turning completely red?
You don’t turn red or blue anymore. Team colors are gone, you just remain the color of the coating you chose.

Infinite has the new friend or foe system. They moved away from the red vs blue. It’s a point of contention amongst the fans. Enemies and friendlies now have thin customizable colored outlines that identify them. So now your Spartan will always appear in games how you customize them for everyone to see. I’m personally not a fan of the system at all.

Red Vs Blue is dead in the water, it’s just your spartan’s colours now with a default outline colour of red or blue (depending which team you’re on or colours you’ve selected)

Yeah I agree with you, I am not a fan of this system either. Seems way to complicated to understand friend or foe and I am almost certain I will be spending a great deal of time trying to decipher this in the first few matches. Hopefully this system is not as irritating as I am imagining it will be.
Yeah IMO I think they should retain RVB classic Halo for Ranked Gameplay, or at least give players the option in settings to make it this way. Social play can have the new Friend or Foe system which shows off your various colour choices.
Yes, it takes like a second to identify your enemy, you ended up shooting a teammate or melee them, but when an enemy comes to you its like a debate…do I shoot? (waste ammo and reload if its a friend) YOLO shoot it,… also if you shoot you will be shown on the enemy radar so its not a good idea to shoot if you are not 1000000% sure that´s an enemy :`( by the time you choose you will either be under fire or just pass your teammate, most of the teammates and enemies where blue so you can imagine my struggle hahaha, hope this helps a little bit

Yeah in Highly competitive matches every millisecond counts, you don’t want ANY wasted time second guessing to shoot or not. Perhaps this is why there was no Friendly fire in the Flight? lol…

If you take into account that a friend also has either a service- or gamertag presented above their Spartan I don’t think we are that much dependent on the colours. You can always see where your teammates are so anything else you blow to oblivion.
I’m still hoping we can actually disable enemy outlines and just use them for allies, only based on how the outlines messed with being able to see shield status so far though.
