Have already planned out what you are going to do, eg like your loadouts/classes for multiplayer.
For discussion value: How did you come up with your ‘planned’ loadouts/classes and if you really wanted to, stay what they are.

I haven’t 100% decided what my loadouts are going to be. But I have ideas of ones which cater to my playstyle.
In our minds, we want to be something. As for me, I want to be something similar to an ODST so I work out what abilities may work for that style based on gameplay and the descriptions for the shown AA’s. And then I decide what armour would resemble an ODST the closest, which is Recruit.
I haven’t, I don’t have a clue yet, i’m about 50/50 on what i’m gonna have at the moment.
I know my own play style well enough to usually guess what I’ll be using in any shooter prior to release. I’m generally right most of the time too :3
At first I thought about using BR a lot.
Hint: It had something to do with my gamertag.
But then I decided that when Halo 4 comes out I will only use covie weapons like Carbine, Storm rifle and Plasma pistol.
Because I’ve played the game?
Long Range Build
Light Rifle
Magnum
Regeneration Field
Mid Range Build
Carbine
Boltshot
Promethean Vision
I’ll have to have some more time for the various armor mods.
Edit: Forgot the how and why.
It’s honestly a tough choice for me between the Carbine and the Light Rifle. I think I’ll probably mix it up a lot, picking the Carbine on medium-range maps and the Light Rifle on longer-range ones. The Light Rifle is incredibly versatile and has serious stopping power to boot. The Carbine is just a flurry of accurate - if not slightly weaker - bullets of green wonder. I see them working great for me in the long run.
The automatics are really appealing to me, but when we’re talking about a BTB scenario, they’re pretty useless. Gotta have that magnum for a backup accurate weapon. The Boltshot, on the other hand, is perfect for finishing kills at mid range. It also doubles as a skilled close-range killer as well.
As for the AAs, Promethean Vision was simply the most useful AA on mid-range maps. Seeing just beyond radar range won’t soak up your entire AA bar, and it’s very useful for the few seconds you have it. However, on long range maps, PV simply doesn’t work so well. It eats up too much AA bar and you don’t get enough reward for it. So I think Regen field works really well here.
I can imagine snipers using the fast reload armour mod.
Sit and think about what will be the most powerful combinations for any encounter, and then thats what you pick. Just takes a few thought experiments to figure it out.
Every video game that uses custom loadouts has what I call an “Ultimate Solution”–a combination (or a few combinations) that dominate the rest. Seeing as 343 revealed so much about the multiplayer already, Halo 4’s Ultimate Solution shouldn’t be difficult to predict.

After playing the game, you’ll feel differently. Though, I will say that for your typical 4v4, mid-sized map scenario (Typical Halo), the go-to loadout will be:
BR/Carbine
Magnum/Any Automatic
Promethean Vision
Dexterity (Quick Reload)
I can’t honestly remember any of the other armor mods, and whether they’re support or whatever. I just know everyone will be using the Dexterity perk in that typical scenario we talked about earlier.
This is not to say that this loadout is “OP” or “Ultimate”. You can easily beat this with other combinations, or be on the same level competitively. I just think this is what your typical competitive online gamer will default to.
I’m just gonna go with the flow and see what I feel like using once I play the game.
As with CoD, I am going to create a loadout designed to annoy people.
I plan when I get the game. I don’t see the point in thinking what I exactly want now until I try it out.
I’ll make different loadouts for different situations, just as I did in CoD. I don’t know yet which weapons will be available for the loadouts, but basically a long-range, a mid-range and a CQC one will I use.
The long-range will be a BR/DMR/Carbine/Lightrifle paired with a “finishing weapon” - a gun I can kill the unshielded targets quickly if I use up the primary’s clip.
For the mid-range an automatic weapon (AR/Storm Rifle) is the primary, the secondary is a Magnum or another headshot weapon, again, to finish the targets if ran out.
For CQC both the Boltshot and the Suppressor seems perfect, but this is the loadout I’ll think the most about. I’m not very good in CQC so I have to use strong weapons here.
I´ll be using some RoleLoadOuts
But,because i havent play the game yet,i dont know the good abilities for wich one so im gonna put just the weapons
Marine-
Assault rifle
Magnum
Frag.Grenade
SCDO(ODST in english)-
BR
Magnum
Frag.Grenade
Insurgent-
DMR
Plasma Pistol
Pulse Grenade
Zealot-
Carabine
Storm Rifle(With the abilite of 2 primary weapons)
Plasma grenade
Crawler Trainer-
Light Rifle
Boltshot
Pulse Grenade
(Sorry bad english)
Assault Rifle
Magnum/Boltshot
Frags
Thruster
That’s what I’ll be using the most. Whether or not I change my starting weapon depends on how hard and frequently I get my -Yoink- kicked by the DMR/BR users.
Haven’t given much thought about the perks and all that.
I’m what you might call a “character loyalist” in games.
I like the Plasma Rifle and Carbine, so I know I’ll be partial to using the Carbine. It’s a shame that there’s no Plasma Rifle (my all-time favorite weapon in Halo), but I’ll try using the Plasma Pistol in its place (**** this Plasma Repeater / Storm Rifle nonsense).
As for everything else, I’ll probably be using Dexterity and whatever is OP. Probably Shielding, Regen, Hardlight Shield, etc. We’ll have to see.

^^What he said.

Thruster Pack: Extra mobility is always nice. Air dashing/ground dashing like a Gundam is a plus. Fits with the Spartan IV’s armor since they too, look like mecha.
Battle Rifle: Nostalgia but to also prove a point (that it’s viable). Will also try out other weapons of the sandbox since it be a waste sticking just with one gun.
Boltshot: Since the Magnum is piss poor weak, using this and it’s shotgun like alt firing mode (instant kill) seems like a nice way to take up a secondary slot (if not, Firepower with an AR/Storm Rifle/LightRifle)
Tactical Package: Firepower/Dexterity.
Support Upgrade: Mobility (really undecided tbh)
That’s how i have it in my head so far. Based on what we’ve seen so far.
