Usually when you get a game week before its release and post videos of the story (Which has been hyped up all year long) before its week it’s gonna be able to be purchased makes me sick. Either these sell outs have permission or 343 doesn’t really care is just baffiling to me. Not that there’s anything wrong with it but you need to understand social media is a huge thing now and not everyone can go “Dark” and not be spoiled by spoilers (Comments, articles, Headlines in titles)
Im not complaining about this, it just seems very strange to me. It’s confusing to me how far 343s standards are with spoilers now.
Are you talking about review copies, which is and has always been a practice to get a game out to the media for review and advertising purposes? Review copies aren’t new, and certainly aren’t exclusive to 343i in any way.

No I’m talking about the campaign being uploaded by a lot of people on the internet which basically spoiles the story and build up. Reviews I’ve known, it’s always been a thing.
I believe they are aloud to show the first 3 missions. I myself wish no one was aloud to do this, we all have the option to not watch them but i just couldnt help myself and ruined it for myself haha.
Campaign has been spoiled before release since at least Halo 2 and 343 can’t do anything about it other than quickly deleting any that get on their forums.

Wait, you think people illegally obtaining games and spoiling them is exclusive to 343i? What?
It happens to every single game. 343i is doing all they can not to let it happen, but there’s only so much they can do, especially a week before launch. It’s Microsoft and all those other sites’ jobs to stop spoilers, not 343i.
Honestly, 343i did an incredible job not allowing leaks to surface for Halo 5. Halo 4 had the main story and antagonist spoiled months before launch, and most people barely know what will happen in Halo 5 even now except for a variety of conflicting and unconfirmed reports.
That is going to happen when the wrong people are allowed to get their copies early and are not bound by any embargo. Really not 343’s fault game stores, online retailiers and whoever sells the damn things makes a mistake.

By no means do I believe people are illegally gaining the games and posting the stuff up on the Internet. It’s the fact the “Select few” get to do this type of stuff and it’s not right.
There’s only 1 level they’re allowed to talk about that hasn’t already been shown to us or extensively talked about…and it contains nothing big itself in terms of spoilers.

I get that they allow certain stuff to be uploaded, I can see their point in the buisness oppertunities, they pretty much should allow multiplayer uploads roam free but when the story mode gets uploaded something seems strange to me. Multiplayer is the next step into making money for themselves so why just allow them to reveal all that instead of what’s going down in the campaign.
Lol it’s a common thing. If you don’t watch the streams or youtube uploads and are careful with your social media(if you follow a ton of halo fans on twitter or something then don’t use it etc.) you shouldn’t get many if any spoilers
I’m confused. Are you angry at 343I for allowing certain people to stream a very limited number of select levels; or the people who got a physical disk early through no fault of 343I’s and then uploaded the entire campaign without any agreement from 343I?
