I just finished making a Halo Reach machinima with voice acting, this is MY first time actually attempting voice acting so I’d like to get your opinion on the video.
Not only with the voice acting but the editing as well. For those that don’t understand the reference made in the video, I’ll explain via PM since I don’t want to ruin the video for others.

I liked it! Nice seeing female machinima producers stepping up!
Were you going for that walkie-talkie quality on your voice (which I actually think is good for Halo Machinimas since most communication between military personnel seems to take place via radio) or is it just your equipment?
Really good for your first time. Only constructive critique is the camera motion at the beginning with the intro was a BIT jerky but I’m sure with time that will get more fluid.

Yeah I agree that isn’t the best camera pan intro, caffiene withdrawal does that to ya.

Well for the voice I had to run it through a program to get that Walkie Talkie sound when she was talking, otherwise it would’ve just sounded well you know, odd. The mic I use a pretty high quality mic with the sound catcher net at the ends so my equiptment its pretty legit, did some noise removal so it would be a nice high quality and had to normalize the voice a bit.

Group is kind of disbanding so I have more videos that are my own initiative now, but I have been looking into people that share my same passion for creating entertaining videos.
:3 So hopefully my bigger project will be able to be worked on when I get a better sum of people.

I’m sure you can find a lot of people on the forums who are interested in helping out! I’m not going to offer any help other than body-acting because of my Scandinavian accent but I can wish you the best of luck.

Whatever help I can get I will happily accept. I have a lot of people on the bioware forums that love to help with voice acting, but if im ever looking for someone with an scandinavian accent I’ll go to you.

The bioware forums are full of creative and helpfull people, I don’t have an account but I’ve been lurking around since DA:O was released so that raises my expectations for your future projects even more.

Yes the bioware forums community is pretty awesome. Some of the best voice talent on youtube, I’ve seen come from bioware forum members.
