I think the bigger issue for a lot of players is the lack of game of modes and play lists. Which, some of them they already have available right now, today, at this very moment, but they choose not to add them permanently, leaving players to play the same thing over and over again. Which gets boring.
And the maps rotation system that isn’t always random.
Again, for some players.
I would be a lot happier if I had more than Slayer, CTF, and Strongholds to play in BTB.
I Agree we had the same problem with Halo 4. Reached Shipped with all these game types along with a substantial amount of content. It was even better when bungie started releasing new Game-types like chess and others throwing a spin on something that hasn’t happened before.
Its a shame 343 see it more of an after thought when it comes to having a Halo game launch they gave them the longevity for a lot of Halo games.

Halo 5 really should’ve launched with all game types. It’s just ridiculous how long we’ve been having to wait for them. I’m assuming we’ll get the update for them in February. --But who knows how much of the Halo 5 population will be around. I’m still playing daily as much as I can but it does tend to get boring.
I do kind of feel that these “Remix Maps” that we’re getting are somewhat contributing to the issue, but not entirely. It’s just more frustrating to see all this money that people have put into Req Packs, and we’re still getting just remix’d maps. Including the ones that shipped with launch. I’m not really complaining, I’d just like to see more variety come soon.

I miss BTB heavies and Infection
