If it’s not fun, why bother? If the gameplay alone isn’t doing it for ya and you need a carrot to chase the whole time I’m not sure what to tell you. Can’t say I understand the mindset of not being able to play a game just because it’s fun.
Could try doing a laso run on all the campaigns if you are wanting something to grind and achieve; other than that there’s really only ranked or forge in the mcc for you right now.
It’s because LoL and RL are actually what I call “background games” and they are really good background games.
Something to keep your hands occupied and brain occupied while you shoot the shyt with some friends in VC. Talk shyt, have fun, play casually, 0 sweat, do fun stuff now and then.
H3 was EXACTLY that sort of game back in the day, and I think Infinite can be too. H5 was so sweaty that you had to go Customs to get any ounce of casual fun.
For a game to last that long, it has to have ease of accessibility for one, and good player retention using a fun gameplay loop. H5 essentially failed both those criterias when it made it more Esports oriented.
What I can see for Infinite for the years to come is people just logging on, loading into BTB and just chatting while doing fun stuff like loading a Razorback with 4 guys holding Fusion Coils and ramming into things.
I’m not sure if this is the right place, but it’s the best place I could find so far. Anyways, I’ve completed the campaign and collected all the audio logs. What would happen if I delete all of my save files. Would I have to recollect them, or is it tied to my account so that I don’t have to do it again.
I know that as long as I keep one save open where I collected everything, that progress carries over to future saves that I make. What I want to know is if I delete that original save, will I have to recollect everything?
As a follow up, I decided to test it out myself. It turns out if you collect everything, the audio logs stay collected, even if you delete every save file.

It seems this entire fourm never played Halo 5 because when it was out every Halo player is in forge in some type of way. The main driver for the game was the custom games. Btb lobbies. Fun customs. Even competitive customs thrived because of it. But again. You only know thisnif you actually played Halo 5 throughout it’s years
Everyone is scattered on all games now. You can claim that infnite has numbers but it’s free and on PC. And the twitch watch time is linked to the twitch drops. So everything will ALWAYS be inflated. You’ll never be able to tell people’s general interest for the game. Outside of this fourm I STILL haven’t found anyone that likes this game. Even the players that like the campagin are burned because of no co op. Idk what works you live in but infnite is one of the worst launches in history next to Cyber punk
I’ve gotten to that point where I made money in small tournaments . It actually felt worth while. Halo infinite doesn’t feel worth while. My best kills don’t even excite me like that. Why would I compete in a game that doesn’t excite me

Ok? And what makes you think forge will even have half of what the old forge had? Because it’s new? Halo infnite is new and it doesn’t even have co op? There has been years of updates on the old forge. Expect the new one to be bare on launch. Bare and probably with bugs.

No I don’t play competitive games for reqs. I said that even IF I WAS TO PLAY CASAULLY, that I wouldve have skins by now just for playing. In halo infinite all I got is a visor so far. In halo 5 I got more for playing.
FFA isn’t ranked. That’s what that statement is about. HCS is nothing if you can’t even get comfortable in a ranked playlist that you like. Which to me is free for fall. I haven’t even gotten a chance to stretch my legs yet but there is no solo ranked option.
I do. I’ma grown adult. I’m always doing something to occupy my time. Just because I have strong opinions about the game doesn’t mean I’m going through mental anguish over the game. Truth is. Multiplayer needs to be paid. Period.
All this waiting for 6 years just to wait another 2 to get the content that should be in the game at launch.
The only thing keeping this game alive is how they set it up. The twitch drops keep people watching HCS. The free multiplayer will always have new free players cycling through. And the campagain had it not released with the grapple as the main movement tool would not have done so well. You can see it in everyone’s campagain gameplay. Remove the grapple and half the fun is gone. Halo infnt is hanging on a thread and if it wasn’t for that people would see how bad this launch is. Idk how people defend no co op. I’m not even a campagin person and that still rubbed me the wrong way

Pro play is nothing how you describe it. It’s a nasty, cut throat type of atmosphere. Anyone will do anything to get ahead of you and yes that even means using the worst glitches in the game border line cheating to win.
They don’t like you and they definitely don’t care if you watch them so when it comes to 'respcet" I don’t respect anyone except for select few. You can come to me with the best stats and money for tournament wins. I’m still going to laugh in your face for saying your good at “Halo infinite”. I literally know all those jumps and more. That’s what I’m saying. Halo 5 had MORE jumps. Meaning. More to learn. I already learned everything that is infnite because I learned it in halo 5.
