I don’t play games often anymore.
A sad fact but I no longer have the time to these days though I used to play Halo CE and every game after as much as I could before. But now between UNI and working its no longer an option but I still keep my eye out for halo news and play halo now and then with friends at my flat. But I just found out due to a this video I was sent by a mate (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s6bggGCFsH0) that apparently once Halo 5 comes one the final series where I can still just sit down and play with some mates is going to lose this feature too.
Which means Halo 5 is probably no longer worth buying anymore for me.
But before people start throwing abuse at heres the reasons why:
- Halo 5 seems to be sold with Multiplayer as its main reason to play. But during the beta in the little time I could play I got absolutely slaughtered and out skilled (though I loved the change in combat and the way they’ve done it) and that’s just after a week or so of people playing the game and its not exactly a good time getting stomped by a couple of guys every match. Before I though “meh It’ll be fine! I can just play split screen with friends” but apparently that’s not a thing anymore. - Inherently the Halo games have always had a heavy campaign side to them to as well as a great multiplayer experience which Halo 5 also seems to have. The Campaign has also always had split screen. And I’m completely at a loss to understand how in the world 343 reached the conclusion that AI (Anyone remember the Halo Reach AI that were sold to us as “special” as well?) or some internet self righteous idiot who yells, abuses or wrecks the game could be better than than being able to sit down with a mate and just have a good time with drinks and snacks.
