That’s what the quitting menu option is for right? Thanks for leaving me that choice.
I think while I’m waiting for the umpteenth time for the quitban to end I’m going to go to forge, fix the maps myself so I won’t have to deal with map abuse during lan games.
Maybe even leave links here so you guys can download them.
If 343 doesn’t know how the maps are broken after leaving them in the playlist for this long I don’t see the point in being constructive, maybe they like it like that.
But fine:
Boardwalk:
1: behind all the curved glass outlining the map.
2: on top the odd three-pronged object near human spawn.
3: the line to the right of human spawn under the top section.
4: on top the building at human spawn.
Asylum:
1,2: up the pile of rocks on either side.
3: the bit of forged area off the side of the cliff.
4: up the railings on either base.

Now all you need to do if go to the maps retrospective topic, preferably the Living Dead variant and leave your feedback, it is likely they will make there way into a future update.
Remember, 343i don’t deal with most of the community maps, the actual map makers do.
The maps are fine with me. Why get mad at the way 343 tries to satisfy their fans? If you don’t like the map, get used to it or play something else. Some people hate the new maps and some people love them. They need to do something about you guys tearing up your shoot buttons on your controllers as humans and just sitting your controllers down neatly on the couch when your a zombie. I remember getting shotdown by this guy who was playing his @** off and when I infected him, he respawned as a zombie and just sat there doing nothing.
> Could be worse, there could be football field sized suicide runs needed to get to the un-infected or tunnels where they may cower like children.

Are you kidding me? These custom living dead maps took ten minutes, a few lights, and some crates to make. Talk about half -Yoinked!-!

Community maps in Living Dead using Forge World are not possible with the current playlist configuration, until 343i lowers the Max Party Size for Living Dead from 4 to 2, it won’t happen due to the frame rate and render issues it will cause.
As for hiding spots, the new maps changed the play & feel of Living Dead to make it less campy and more of a run and gun game mode, which was perfectly fine by me, it made playing as a Zombie a lot more fair and as a survivor, a lot more strategic.
If you don’t like the new maps, then simply don’t vote for them and vote for the old variants which are all available, minus Sword Base.

> How come we can play on Uncgaed and Asylum then?
Because those maps function well with four players on one console, try it for yourself.
As for new maps, we would have to find shabby maps which use a low selection of objects to insure it functions well with four players, which while making an Infection map, is far from easy without ruining balance.
The solution is to just lower it to two max local players and add the Forge maps, much easier and beneficial for all.
