Let me say right now, that I have no other long-standing issues with the rest of the Crimson Map Pack. Shatter and Harvest are good maps (Harvest especially) but after my first Infinity Slayer game on Wreckage, I left feeling very unsatisfied.

It’s too big. I know many have complained about the size of the maps (Too many big ones) but this is the only one I felt like it really was too big, or it ‘felt’ too big at least. Too many vantage points.

There is FAR too much going on at once. The idea of fighting in the remains of, what I assume, is the Forward Unto Dawn sounded awesome. In practice it was not very pleasant. All the wreckage, sparks and so on were all over the place. Might sound weird, but it really was rather distracting. It was the first time having the players be different colors was not enough to tell them apart from the background.

Why is the sand glowing? I felt blinded at parts of the level because of the lighting. Like with #2, it was hard to see where enemies were. If the map took place in grassland or at night, this issue would be gone, but it was a mess.
If this seems like -Yoinking!-, then I apologize, but these issues really stop Wreckage from being enjoyable.
