I love playing Halo Reach and I am happy 343 gave us again the possibility to customize our Spartans but there are some things I think they can/should improve in terms of user Interface design.
I want to see how other players look like when I am in the lobby and searching a game. It was a very important aspect in Halo Reach that you saw what others spend their credits for and it really motivated me to save money for a certain armour part. So a change of the lobby menu might make sense, because it motivates you to maximize your armoury.
In detail I think of a List of players on the right you can go through and have a short overview of the certain player (emblem, armour, gamertag, clantag).
Agree… I hate this and I can’t see how ANYONE could see this as an improvement. (I wonder how the devs could).
Just use the previous pre-game lobby style. You can’t even see which team youre in!
Hello,
i love halo. Please give us the old multiplayer Lobby back !
I want to look at the skills and armours of other players. I want to See the Name of other player before the game started! I will See what Team i am. Blue or red!
Please give us this.
Hallo,
It’s too simple. The only people’s starts you can see is people in your fire team. You don’t even know people’s Spartan or skill ranks until after the game if you check the carnage report. (While we are on the topic of carnage report, I also hate the fact you can’t see your medals)

Yesterday, I was thinking the same thing. I wish there were an easier way to see other people’s spartans. I know there is a way to see them when you go to Carnage Report, but that’s going from one menu to another. I should be in the lobby and maneuver over to the list of people in queue with you. Speaking of, that’s another thing, I wanted to mute a couple of people when I was in the lobby but couldn’t find a way to do it. (let’s be honest I didn’t look hard but you get my drift).
I don’t like the UI either. I want to be able to see who’s on who’s team before the game starts. I also want to know what rank they are so I can determine whether the system expects me to win or lose.
One thing im not understanding about the UI is the fact that they did not include a Pre-game lobby. I mean WTF, every single halo game has one except for Halo:CE(to an extent). By now it should be an obvious thing to add into your game, yea the fire team menu is nice but so what if I cant clearly see whos in my lobby and if we cant talk to each other until we either get placed into a match made game or go into an Xbox live party.
I agree. The Multiplayer lobby / menu is pretty bad. For one - Why do the stance and emblem unlocks even exist? Also, I pretty much only play warzone and it is horrible not being able to see who is on your team or being able to mute players before the game starts. I have to sit through minutes of crying babies, obnoxious music and other background noise. To make things worse, the score / team menu in the game isn’t that much better. Often the mic indicators don’t work so you don’t know who is making the noise anyway.
