You remember when this beta was actually, you know, good? Before the rancid BR starts? Inb4: “you just suck lol git bettr konection lol i lov Doritos, and i just gave myself a Mt. Dew enema.”
The BR is honestly frustrating as hell, and it creates the wrong kind of skill gap. I feel like there is a skill plateau with the new aim system, you either do alright with less aim assist, or you’re not so good. I fall in between. I’m good at mid to long range, but up close i am trash. I know the weapon is designed that way, but its still frustrating when you have to start with the dang thing. Also, BR’s allow for ridiculous amounts of spawn killing. Its like you’re constantly visible, and with BR’s starts, you’re constantly in someones crosshairs. Week one with AR, magnum starts did not have this issue and the game was great. I really hope week 2 and 3 do not end up representing Halo 5 as a whole, or I will not be purchasing, which is sad because I have been playing since CE.
Week 1 was infinitely better, and I’m pretty sure the consensus would agree. The current map setup and skill set imbued upon the player do not mix well with BR starts; the bullet magnetism is too high, the BR is no longer a precision weapon like it was in the old Halo games. Halo 5 is easier in every regard because of this reason, but the magnetism is amplified with BR starts because it’s headshot kill after headshot kill after headshot kill.
So you are complaining because you are trying to use a mid to long range weapon in close combate battles and it is not working out?

It’s like if I said AR starts need to be taken out because whenever I try to shoot a person cross map with the AR I can’t ever l;and any shots. Why don’t you try using the right weapon for the right situation instead of just crying like a baby and asking for things to be changed.

Right. Let’s just ignore the fact that BR starts have been the HEAVY favorite start for the last decade. Literally 99 times out of 100 the lobby picks BRs over everything. Shoot, people even pick DMRs over ARs. YOU AR GUYS ARE THE MINORITY
But all in all stop being so “WAH I WANT IT MY WAY” and realize that there will probably be both starts and the lobby will choose which start they want for that match which is how it should be
