The reticule is way too big. Makes it basically impossible to counter-attack with a headshot at any decent range for me. Basically, the only way to use it is to get kind of way too close and tap, pulse or, mostly, just hold down the trigger while trying to maintain a clear shot. I don’t want to start with a weapon that does not match with the precision basis for basically every other rifle in the game. I don’t really find it very effective or all that important of a weapon because the design just seems so old and it’s the same in every Halo game. A lot of people find it to be a really annoying weapon to play with/against because it is balanced in such a way as to allow you to get a kill without really trying with much precision/accuracy. The SAW, SMG, and shotgun are basically the same with the giant reticule and kind of weird, off-putting balance for not being precise at all.

Well the reticule of the Halo 5 Assault Rifle is the same as Halo: Reach and 4 so you can say the same for those since Reach. At least the AR is useful for once since Halo 3, 4 and Reach are almost borderline useless.

Yes. Exactly. OP will just never get it. Weapons don’t have to be precision to be useful, they just need to be powerful enough that they fit in their niche.

I was being real. Your “idea” of making weapons with spread more “skilled” is by allowing them to basically be a very powerful BR? The replies from your previous threads say enough. Read them over.

True that at least every weapon in the game has a purpose. That’s why I believe Halo 5’s weapon sandbox is the best IMO.

I still like it and the reticle is not that bad.
Some people can go beast with it but it sprays badly for me. I can’t control it so I dump it first chance I get.

I doubt it’s a troll thread, he’s posted three similar threads prior to this one. If he is trolling he is being pretty consistent about his choice of topic. I’d say he honestly believes the game would be better that way, in spite of some good arguments against his position.

Then use a precision weapon, that’s why they exist.
If we are gonna complain, I can at least say the CE one had a better feel to it.
