Old ones were way better. There’s too much structure and other junk in the map that isn’t necessary and too many lanes too. Probably an unpopular opinion.
Also is Overgrowth still in the map rotation? Been playing for a while and haven’t played on that map yet.
Those maps were always bad IMO, no matter what versions you were playing. I just didn’t like how each matched played and flowed. Felt too…odd.
And yes, Overgrowth is still in the rotation.

That’s the nature of these Forge maps, sometimes. Despite that aspect, you can still perform well on these maps if you play smart. I got a Perfection on both these maps - Shotty Snipers on Orion II, and Super Fiesta on Pegasus II - which weren’t too hard if you know exactly what you’re doing.
I’m still shocked those maps are still around.
I can tolerate Pegasus to a point but Onion makes me want to commit sudoku.

Agree, I hope they get taken out with something new and better.
I’d much rather play Pegasus and Orion over Mercy, the highest, most grossly weighted map in just about every playlist… lol
they were always crap and should’ve never been added back in. orion is a campfest with snipes being way too powerful. pegasus works better than orion, but it’s still not a good map at all.
