I Don't Know What to Say Anymore...HALO INFINITE Has Lost its Charm

We are a couple months into this game so far and it just isn’t fun to play anymore (for me can’t speak for everyone).

Let me explain and hopefully spark a dialogue.

For starters the desync and latency issues make the game unfun. Getting shot through a wall or missing a melee that obviously connects, is infuriating at least and unacceptable at worse.

The store seems to be a main priority for mint running condition. While still charging crazy amounts for pulling apart bundles to give you an armor color and filler emblems for five dollars or removing a holo-halo from one thing to charge three dollars for it the next week.

There’s still barely any new content from launch such as maps, customization, forge, armor, game types and probably more I can’t think of at the moment.

No daily, weekly, monthly, or seasonal challenges with free rewards for completion.

I haven’t seen any attempt to fix cosmetic problems with unaligned helmet graphics or visual bugs.

Ranked has no meaningful progression system (at least to me) with ways to compare players service records for progress through the game. Like Halo Reach’s commendation system.

Absent of any pre game or post game lobbies to view players and show off.

Possibly even a bigger plethora of problems I hope the community continues to speak upon.

I don’t understand how they think changing things just to change them instead of giving fans what they tell 343 will make Halo good baffles me. The indie developers of Splitgate have the right mindset, make it fun for the people to play and reward them.

Yet the Halo community doesn’t want to hurt 343s feelings saying it takes time to change this stuff. They had SIX YEARS to get this game right and all we got is a game designed to suckle off the teat of micro transactions and drip feeding us content than should’ve been there to begin with. Honestly, I don’t feel listened to about these complaints, and I pray I’m not the only one who feels this way.

HALO INFINITE is a shell of a game that deserves better than what 343 has done to it for the past few years and I’m getting tired of watching the same thing game launch after game launch.

It deserves people like the key devs from Bungie, that left Bungie like Joseph Staten that has heart.

The higher-ups need to be removed, and replaced with people that know how to create a quality type of game.
