Living Dead needs changes. If you were one of the first three zombies in a round then you should no longer be chosen to be one of the starter zombies in that game.
It is so annoying being a starter zombie 2, 3, heck even 4 rounds in a row. Yes I’ve had it before where I was the starter zombie in a full game and then in the first round of the next game.
Why was this mode made like this in the first place.
A normal game of Zombies only has three rounds so you couldn’t have been the Zombie for four rounds in a row? But I agree with you when you say it needs changing because it does get annoying and has happened to me before. I think the last three players should be the three starter Zombies the next round.

The three rounds of one game then the first round of the next game. I consider that 4 rounds in a row.
It’s completely random, there’s nothing to be changed about it.

Random isn’t always good though. Seeing as how you can get starter zombie 3+ times in a row in my case.
I have already started to quit if I am a starter zombie twice in a row. Its getting ridiculous.
I don’t know if they’d have the tools or desire to make it so the starter zombies from the previous round are excluded from the potential random selection pool, but maybe they can do something like that for halo 4.

Everyone remembers when they spawn as a zombie 3 rounds in a row. No one remembers when they spawn as a human 20 rounds in a row.
Such an option doesn’t exist in Reach, it simply isn’t possible, unless 343i can work some magic with Megalo.

BUT BLOOM IS AWESOME GUYS.
OT - nothing needs changed with Living Dead. Stop focusing on pointless playlists and get down to fixing the rest of the game / making sure Halo 4 doesn’t tank.
It’s been a while since I played that one, but if I remember correctly the human/zombie ratio is assymetric, not to mention if you don’t have an even amount of players. Coding for “how long it’s been since you were a zombie or human” would be ridiculous and bog down matchmaking. It’s not like team objectives where there are actually turns. Yeah, I remember being annoyed at not getting the other side, but you’re just going to have to live with it with the same odds as everyone else.

A playlist isn’t pointless if it’s someone’s focus of enjoyment for a game.

Living Dead is meant to be a pointless, kick back, and not give a crap playlist. Fact.
Updating it or considering pleas for updating it because some kids think they’re being treated unfairly by being the zombie 2 rounds in a row is ridiculous. Instead of updating Living Dead, worry about the rest of the game.
In halo 3 the top three players would always be the zombie in the next round. Only in the first round would zombies be chosen at random.

Past Halo games always had things better.

Ending your sentence with “fact” doesn’t actually make it correct, more correct, or even relevant. It usually just means that you don’t know how to back up your statements. You can’t discount playlists just because of their “kick back” factor. What you’re saying is that what one person (you) enjoys about the game is more important than what another person enjoys. If enough people cared about something that you considered “pointless”, guess what would get the attention? Not your concerns. So what would be “pointless” then? You’re wasting your time trying to attach importance to some aspects of a video game over others. Whatever is in demand has the most importance. Even if his isn’t the most common complaint, he should still voice it and let 343 weigh it against other issues. Why do you feel the need to tell him not to voice an idea, especially when it’s about game mechanics?
