I just browse over the forums and never post as you can see by my post count.
However i finally feel the need to post. First off let me say i have been playing halo since the original xbox lan party days.
I really dont understand why there is som much complaining BEFORE the game is out.
yes i agree not having doubles or visable ranks is a step backward and other genuine reasons for people to voice thier concerns i understand this. The thing i dont understand many of has has not even played the game that a lot of reviewers are calling one of the best FPS this generation.
343 have done an amazing job from what i have seen so far and will truly voice my opinion of the game when i have played the game itself.
Its the complainers that force the developers to make changes that truly make an amazing game worse. Its happedned with other games and i would hate for it to happen with this game.
I really dont want to see this happen for this game. Please just wait and see what the game is like for your self before complaining and the developers to make changes.
343 would not of made certain changes if there was no need. They have been around halo for years and are fans of the franchise.
So again i just ask you all please wait until you play the game see if its balanced, then voice your concerns. This is more than likely going to fall onh deaf years but there we go.
^ agreed. I think criticism is ok to a point, and people here cross that point allot. I hope 33 does what there going to do(or did) without worrying about the people that don’t want to give it a chance.
The constant arguing is dumb to, on almost every thread you can find at least 2 people fighting, with the exclusion of the larger threads that are used for something legitimate besides complaining.
> If we don’t voice our complaints/concerns they will never get fixed. Simple as that…
I don’t think the issue is that people are voicing their concerns, I think it’s the fact that it is being done obnoxiously. And some things people are complaining about can’t even be known until they personally play the game. I’m all for voicing an opinion but I think it’s important to play the game first and then voice it in a mature, stream-lined fashion. We don’t need 20 different topics on rank or support upgrades and so on. You can see the rest of them. It’s like people are ignoring every topic and going straight to “New Topic”. People are not voicing their opinions in a constructive and mature way. Instead they’re spamming the forums so that no one can really find other topics.

Just as you say we haven’t played the game yet so we shouldn’t be complaining, keep in mind that you haven’t played the game yet so you shouldn’t be praising it. Its a 2 way street.
also I have played the game and my concerns are concerns I got from the limited play time I had with it.

Please state where i praised it?
Yes i said this
“343 have done an amazing job from what i have seen so far and will truly voice my opinion of the game when i have played the game itself.”

Eh, that is 50% correct and 50% wrong. Most of the complaints are childish and baffling due to how much people can complain about trivial aspects of the game. A few do help make the game better but people were complaining about Halo 4 almost half a year ago…

First, we have already seen a lot of the MM. We can already see some things that are wrong with the game & need to be fixed. Second, reviews mean nothing. Your own review is the one you should trust the most. Any reviewer that consistently gives CoD top marks really isn’t worth looking at anyways, but that’s my opinion, I’m not saying CoD is a bad game though. Third, developers need input to make the optimal game for fans that will stick with it. Keeping our mouths shut about obvious problems isn’t going to help make the game better.

That’s why we’re complaining. We don’t need to play to know that a bad thing has happened to the game.

> irrelevant, i wonder what people are trying to prove when they are subtly bragging that they’ve been playing a series since their first release title.
Im not bragging. Im simply showing im not just jumping on the Halo 4 band wagon.

I know it sucks cuz I see it sucking.
And no, other people don’t need to think it sucks. They’re free to give rebuttals.
Your point of view is hypocritical, and I’ll leave it at that.

Without playing it? Because the feel of it wont affect what you see? If thats how you play I feel sad for you. I have played so many games i thought I would hate because of how it looked, but I played and they were enjoyable because the way they felt matched with the way it was designed.
And I agree that my post was hypocritical to a point, but it serves the purpose of expressing that not everyone agrees with you.

Well said. Its this reason i made this post to begin with. Not to start arguements but to ask people to play the game before rasing issues that they think is not right in the game
Without playing it how can you say this is beyond me.
