Everyone is complaining about the fact that there are no social playlists and that nothing draws them to the game. That its getting boring because they can only play slayer. I got the answer. Custom Games. Halo 5 has a great amount of custom games and the Spartan companies make them so much easier to organize. Before H5 I had no friends that play Halo. None. I joined a spartan company and I met ONE GUY. One. From this one guy I have found so many friends. And am now part of many custom game communities. I spend many days and nights playing custom games with these guys and have the most fun I’ve had in halo for ages. So al you complaining. Just be sociable. I can wait for social ha ethos because of these customs games. Yes, the lack of game modes is quite damn annoying I admit, especially infection, but I’ve still had heaps of fun without it.

What about people who don’t like custom games? I do it here and there with my clan but I prefer matchmaking due to it being more serious. I don’t need to be in a lobby with 16 people screaming either or talking over one another. Social playlists is also a way to practice for ranked playlists as well. You can find that in customs to but who wants to spam out messages looking for a person/group to hope and find someone?
I did join a community. They, too, all but dropped the game due to lack of content.

The reason people want social is so its not competitive, and they don’t want to be sweating. I can understand the training bit but yeah, I find custom games much more social than social game types. Everyone’s having fun and laughing and communicating. Even when playing competitively
Custom games are indeed fun, but maybe people also want to work on commendations or don’t have friends on atm.

Spartan companies are not good enough.
Why?Because you can only join one, So you cannot be in the one where your friends are and also in a costum games dedicated company
I don’t see the point of social playlists. All a social playlist is, is a playlist without a rank, is that right?
It’s not like your rank is permanently ruined, either. Thanks to the new ‘seasons’, your ranks are reset every month.

When did I defend them. I’m annoyed at the lack of these things too, but at this point in time 343i definitely know the problem yet people are still making heaps of threads about it. The lack of infection and other game types is damn annoying. I’m just saying that you should stop complaining and come up with an alternative. Which is custom games.
Yeah playing custom games with companies is really fun TOO BAD the company system isn’t integrated with the game that could had been so good…

You have to realize that the main reason people go online are to complain so of course the majority of the posters will be complainers. So that is why you see so many complaint threads. They don’t realize there really is no such thing as “social” playlist. All playlist are players trying to win the game. I notice no difference at all between the two. Never once did I come across a player who stopped shooting at me and was like well I killed you last time so you can kill me this time it is “social”… hahahaha
Because custom games are harder to setup, it takes time to get people into games. I’m with you, I love custom games, but social playlists wouldn’t hurt.
The #1 thing this game needs is infection, it’s what most people have been asking for.

People have the right to throw their frustration at 343I, if people are not vocal about it then 343I will think everything is fine.

you never played against my team back during h2…
but social is as much about attitude as it is about the actual gametype.
