I don't get all the hating ?

Before anyone starts , please hear me out first.

Halo is one of the greatest franchises that I’ve ever had the pleasure of playing and although these new ‘additions’ may bug alot of you , I think its done so Halo has a chance against another gaming juggernaught ( COD ).

After Reach I was really disappointed by Bungie and had almost lost faith in the franchise , but the books brought me back and I’m glad they did.Although Reach in many of our eyes wasn’t by far the est Halo game some of its ‘additions’ like Sprint and Loadouts are being brought back.

I think this is done to reach out to a larger community , 343i is taking a huge risk , yes but they mean well by the fans.If the recent ‘leaked info’ is correct then I only have a few problems.

1)Elites are not playable - Although I’ve never played as an Elite often , it’s always nice to have a choice to change once in a while and this upsets a great portion of the community. It would be nice to play as a squid face , even if we don’t all like it.

2)Spartan ops - Although I really love the idea , we loose out on Firefight. It doesn’t really bug me because it has campaign cannon to it so I’m all for it  , I just liked Firefight.

Now I know alot of you have your own opinions on this , but I still really skied for Halo 4 and now more than ever seeing as we’ve got a little more in sight to the campaign.

So for those of you who read this much thank you.
Thoughts ?

P.S They’re bringing assassinations back xD.

Most of its CoD rage.

> Most of its CoD rage.

Because , for example the joining in session thing ?I like the idea personally , keeps teams even and its always unfair to players who are a team member down.

And plus , BF does it to ;).

Let’s see…

-Armor Abilities are returning.
-There’s a Progression System, not an actually ranking system.
-Armor that effects gameplay.
-Loadouts are back, but instead are custom loadouts (worse, IMO)
-Random weapon spawns
-Forerunner Vision

Those are just a few reasons why.

> Most of its CoD rage.

Most of it is Halo players wanting to play Halo.

But apparently that’s just trolling.

100% agree. Except I’m not that disappointed by reach, at least not enough for me to not play it.

No.

Halo is not doing bigger and better things to challenge COD.
It’s copying things from COD to BE COD.

That’s the problem.

Okay I get the ranking system , that may be annoying but its not fully needed ( although it would be nice to have ) , just as long as full parties are paired up with other parties.

Btw , we still don’t know how the new loadouts will effect gameplay , so until I see more my opinion on that shouldn’t matter.for all we know it could help its gameplay but I get that after Reach we don’t want a Reach 2.0 .

I think your wrong but thats my opinion.MW3 earned over a billion in a few days after its launch , I can’t even remember Reach’s sales numbers.

Yes 343i may need to borrow some ideas from other games , but please don’t forget that BF3 and other fps’ also use custom loadouts and joining in progress systems.

I saw some gameplay of Halo 4. Didn’t like what I saw. People told me to wait.
We get info on Halo 4. I dislike almost everything in there. People tell me to wait.
We’ve got more info, so I will judge. And I say, it is Reach 2.0.

its just cod fan rageing dont worry as soon as 343 show somegameplay the cod fans will give up

Personally IMO its not the best Halo game , goodish but not really good if that makes any sense?I still play it just not as often as I’d like to :).

Just because theres a progression system this does not mean this is also the Ranking system. Frankie said they aren’t ready to comment on the ranking system yet, so 1-50 may still return in coalition with the Progression System.

You added these to points ;

-Random weapon spawns
-Forerunner Vision

We don’t know how Forerunner vision works yet , although IMO it sounds pretty cool and as for the random weapon spawns , I love the idea.

In Reach playing invasion with a full party , the other team atleast 9/10 never stood a chance.Thats when ever I did full parties , camping the weapon spawns so the other team didn’t stand a chance and I’d say I helped ruin the game for a few people , hints why I stopped full partying.

So Halo 4 for me still has my hopes up.

> its just cod fan rageing dont worry as soon as 343 show somegameplay the cod fans will give up

My hopes is we still have a community that will show some support instead of just complaining all the time unless there is a problem

Thanks for the comment though :).

Well here’s to hoping :).It’d be unfair to newbies playing against one of the higher ranks in the game.

Thanks for the comment :).
