Campaign really killed it for me. I was mostly happy to play MP despite its faults, despite not being much of an MP player before.
The campaign is just so underwhelming. Lack of modes and the unlock system being such a mess isn’t giving me much reason to keep MPing.

Agreed. Last week I decided to take a step back and wait a year or so. All the issues and incompleteness of this game are starting to eat at me like a disease.
I booted up Destiny after a several month break “coinciding with Halo Infinite” and boy did I have a good time. That game really brings out the feeling of being a wolf in a wolf pack. Starting to feel that the next Halo was here all the time…
Sorry for the tangent, I just sort of feel betrayed by 343. Every n-years I tell myself that the next Halo will be better and every n-years I get burned.

100%. I stopped playing weeks ago. I came back for Tenrai, played for 2-3 hours put it down and realized that I don’t care enough to have a bad time playing this game. Went back to Destiny 2. Destiny 2 is in a great spot right now IMO. I recommend it to anyone who is interested. You can even get the BR and CE Magnum currently. It’s great.
