I don't care, because if I did, I'd be depressed

Anyone ever take a look at their KDR and just want to slap themselves? Or maybe worse?

Well let me tell you, I have stopped caring. I want to write something inspiring about how video games are not life, and everyone is a winner, and everyone can do it…but nah. It’s not really the truth. I don’t care about my KDR simply because it sucks so bad. This also goes for my WLR.
Want to know what my KDR is?

0.616Share your own terrible KDR and why you don’t care! Or why you do care…or your amazing Kill/Death Ratio. We might all hate you but it’s the internet so you’ll be safe in the comfort of your home.

EDIT: I don’t actually care about my KDR and I NEVER HAVE. This was more of a light hearted joke and I didn’t expect to get so much hate over it. Honestly I’m surprised by a lot of the people on this thread. Being an -Yoink- hole never helped anything.

If you were depressed over your KDR in a video game you need serious help.

I’ve never wanted to slap myself because of my KDA lol. Maybe in Reach is my lowest KD because I was 10 playing that game but no.
My overall KDA in Arena (Halo 5) is 5.0.
The only thing that makes me seriously mad is when I play FFA and I get cleaned up, nade spammed from all angles, double teamed, or my kill gets stolen.

It bothers me to an extent, but it doesn’t matter overall. Enjoying life is what matters.

yes yes but do you haz good win ratio iz real questin!
I don’t care about kd in halo its all about the wins in this game because this shows that you’re a good teammate, if you throw yourself at the enemy to stall the flag then your a good teammate, if you’re the guy who plays slayer in ctf then you need to git gud.

Of course it helps not to die but a perfect disruptive sacrifice in slayer such as throwing a grenade right before you die can present the perfect opportunity for your teammate with a rocket launcher behind you to catch up and get a easy overkill, turning the tide of battle.

Could be worse dude, I know of a player with a .011 K/D. I contend it’s a bot though. Dude has 2% accuracy. I would post the player in question, but I don’t want to break the forum rules for “calling someone out.”

Don’t worry about your K/D. Only insecure people obsess over it. Besides, if you’re playing people in your skill set it should hover around 1 anyway. I’ve seen people with really high K/D that weren’t very good, and vice versa. No worries, just try and have fun.

Mine is better than expected because I mainly play social and my ranked is usually above 1 so I’m fine with that.

To an extent I’ll get frustrated, but just momentarily. Probably like others. As soon as I turn my game off though, it leaves my mind. Just a game.

Never cared, never will. Having fun is more important.

I’m fine with my positive K/D.

I don’t think my 1.4 is too bad. I care about it and it’s always fun to improve it, but I don’t stress out over it.

I played FFA a lot when I started and I was already an awful silver ranked player so naturally my KD was awful, I was over 10,000 kills in the negatives, then one day I said “NO! It’s time to git gud!” so I fought and I fought and eventually in roughly 10 months and as soon as I hit SR 147 I finally got positive and I’m NEVER losing it! But that’s how I get through sadness, I beat it up!

Got no idea cuz I don’t care so much that I don’t check it. I just don’t care because it doesn’t show anything. You can be a trash player and still have a high KDR. You can also be a good player and have a -Yoink- house KDR

I like the thread idea OP, skrubs unite! LOL!

Mine has improved a little since I started. When I first started in H5 it was as low as 0.3 at one point. It’s up to 0.8 now. (Only referring to Arena, WZ basically doesn’t matter at all anymore since AI kills count into it.)

I intend no disrespect, but people don’t really get to decide what should and should not be important to other people. If it’s important to OP, it’s important to them. More power to you if you are able to will yourself to not care. Some people have trouble with that. Everyone is different.

This thread is so negative. What’s the point of it?

I have .888 KDR (Mainly because of bad matches and aim problems) I really don’t care about it that much. If it was every other Halo game I would care but 5… It just makes me not care at all.

Who cares about your K/D?

Doesn’t reflect skill as you can ask a real good player to party up with 3 players way below his skill level in slayer and you can guess where it’ll go. People who have a slightly negative or positive K/D are more likely playing with people on their skill level and such.

Edit:

Does anyone know that you can buff your overall K/D seen in Waypoint by just playing WZFF a lot.

If you don’t believe me, just set your service record anyone can view on Waypoint to Halo 5 and then binge play on WZFF and see the numbers shoot up

I had a 2.2 kdr I believe. My kda I don’t even know that fluctuates so much I don’t even know how they score it

Your KDR is simply a number, and not a representation of you. Just polish it up in Social Arena and you’ll be solid.

To be clear, I’ve NEVER cared about my Kdr. This whole post was more of a joke.
