This is the first time I’ve ever heard of more maps, cosmetics, and Spartan Ops S3 for Halo 4. Did any of the armor or maps make it to Halo 5 that I’m unaware of?
Maps? No sadly. Not to my knowledge.
As for Armor, the Mark IV was originally going to be a Halo 4 DLC but instead became a Halo 5 Content Update armor.
We missed out on quite a few maps, and we only know placeholder titles and file-names.
- Breaking Point
- Deadlock
- Blood Pit
- CA_Ching
- Forerunner City
- Dish
- Escalation
- CA_Gorge
- Remnant
- Station
- Fortress
- NoLoad Tower
- Pillars
- Island
- Sinkhole
- Extinct
- CA_Constant_Strife
- CA_Peanut
- CA_Shipyard
- CA_Standoff
- DLC_Junkyard_Craneswing
- Arrowhead
- Covenant Underwater Technology
- Genesis
- Last Resort Remake
- Narrows Remake
- ONI Bog
- And plenty more that we only know little about.
And Mark IV is concept art for Infinite. I do remember the Halo 4 map Perdition was once for Halo Reach’s Defiant pack until it was cut. I attempted to forge it in Halo 5 but gave up as it’s one of my favorite maps in the series.
Indeed.
It has quite a few variants, and we should hopefully see it sometime soon as a season featuring the UNSC Spirit of Fire somewhere down the line.
I require citations, Rambo.
The following link will lead you to several archived twitter posts showcasing the unfinished maps, the Art Station posts regarding certain map assets that were unused, and a video showcasing many more.

Oh and also, the Mark IV concept art for Halo 4. Similar to Hayabusa, it was designed and in the process of being modeled; but was scrapped from the DLC lineup as Halo 4 had only 20,000 daily players online a year after launch. Not a profitable game

At least when it came to cut armor, they tended to release it into Halo 5 Guardians, though this seems to have only applied to the Mark IV and the gauntlets & legs of armor sets that already were in Halo 4 (Gungnir, Recon, Protector, Soldier, and Infiltrator Gauntlets & Legs)
Sadly however, Ranger’s Legs, Hayabusa Armor & Legs, and who knows how many other armor sets; were left on the cutting room floor and not used in Halo 5 Guardians.
ON THAT NOTE, it is rather odd that Halo 5 Guardians left out quite a few armor sets for players to make use of from Halo 4 and Halo 2 Anniversary. The following were left out of Halo 5 Guardians for unknown reasons, and yet we received armors like Goblin and Seeker in their place -
- H2A - Centurion
- H2A - Hoplite
- H4 - EOD
- H4 - HAZOP
- H4 - Mark V
- H4 - Oceanic
- H4 - ODST
- H4 - Prefect
- H4 - Ricochet
- H4 - Vanguard
Age does not matter when it comes to enjoyment since things like “enjoyment” and “fun” are subjective.
Edit: As a side note however, I am enjoying the game. Didn’t buy a single thing though.
Are you mad they are making millions a week from the store, they don’t need the numbers of
Players as long as the spend rate is
High. Until the spending in the store drops nothing has to change.
*cough-cough
“Xbox Live and possibly Gamepass Ultimate”
*cough-ahmn
I dont want Halo to be the next Call of duty with a store.
Halo has never been about buying stuff, in Halo 5 I have alot of unused credits.
Sadly, the Marketing Teams of companies around the world are following either EA’s model or Apple’s model.
I mean, that’s pretty obvious. Infinite is a success in their eyes because of how much the store generates. This is the unfortunate reality of today’s video games.
Also, Infinite is a free game, which backs them into a corner because there is only so much they can change.
It’s time to move on from Halo.
SLEAZY MARKETING GUY WITH A COMICAL ITALIAN ACCENT
“You see Mr. Corporate Investor Man Dude Guy, if we stack the deck to do the bare minimum to make the game work WHILE making it a free to play game; you guarantee a larger player population at minimal development cost. More people playing the game, the more schmucks we can siphon money out of. AND thanks to our decision to making it free-to-play, you will have children wanting the shiney goodies we hide away in our over-priced store. And as you know, kids are selfish and have loose morals. They will go get Mommy and Daddy’s credit cards and go spend HUNDREDS of non-refundable money from their parents’ Debit and Credit cards.”

“And you are sure this will get me enough money to get me my sixth yacht?”
SLEAZY MARKETING GUY WITH A COMICAL ITALIAN ACCENT
“Fuhgedabout a sixth yacht. This tactic has allowed Fifa and Fortnite developers to get enough dough to make cartel bosses look like a dead-end job. And unlike being a cartel figurehead, this is legal despite how illegal it oughta be boss.”

“I dunno Sleazy Marketing Guy With A Comical Italian Accent… it seems a bit risky.”
SLEAZY MARKETING GUY WITH A COMICAL ITALIAN ACCENT
“Mr. Corporate Investor Man Dude Guy, can I call you Corporate Investor Man Dude? Okay, Corporate Investor Man Dude, I may be known for being sleazy, but that is the first name mah motha gave me. But my baptism name is Marketing. And lemme tell you, this is what has allowed EA Games to stay afloat an then some despite having to liquidate a company they own every year. You gotta trust me on this. I’m the guy who invented the Battle Pass and look how everyone is followin’ my lead on that? I’m the guy who told Nintendo to aggressively sue anyone who tries to do anything with their Intellectual Properties. And I’m the guy who told the Sonic movie to make a terrible design for Sonic first to save on marketing as the schmucks on the internet will do all the marketing for them. YA GOTTA TRUST ME ON THIS !!”
MR. CORPORATE INVESTOR MAN DUDE GUY
“Okay Sleazy… you got yourself a deal.”

“Ay Bada-Bing-Bada-Boom, that catchphrase is a bit cliché, but what can I do but say it is a pleasure doin’ business wit ya. We about to make more money than the US Mint!!”
Didn’t buy Xbox Live because Halo Infinite does not require Xbox Live.
Didn’t buy Gamepass as well because… well, cause I didn’t buy it.
I shall slam my blue button of X to doubt your claims, good gamer.
All attempts to doubt my claims will be futile, as those claims are true, fellow gamer.
So you are telling me you never had Xbox Live?
I did, when I got my Xbox for the very first time. I got the Forza Horizon 4, Lego Speed Champions DLC (FH4), and 1 month of Live Gold along with the Xbox.
Ah… so you are new to the Live Gang and have yet to pay your dues?
Well, I mean I’ve gotten my Xbox for roughly 2 years at this point (Had an Xbox 360 since 2012, replaced it with Xbox One X in Dec 2019). Bit confused on what you mean by new and having yet to pay my dues.
