They dont know how.
Probably werent the engineers who updated the engine.
Slipspace doesnt have the same benefit of tiger where many of those who reworked the engine stayed and gained years of experience.
Hell last I checked bungie still had engineers from reach on staff.
And even with that knowledge they have to vault entire sections of game.
The issue here is you need engine literacy to fix issues especially ones as fundimental as this and likely truth is they dont have that at 343i.
This isnt like halo 3 where most the team had been using an iteration of blam since CE and were present as it evolved over time.
I mean they openly told us they cant do things due to the bloody UI now thats a big red flag on its own.
Also and I hate to do this but it drives me wild.
You could NOT care less.
What you said was the opposite of what you meant.
Sorry, I couldn’t stop myself, I tried but failed.
Real answer: they have different teams working on different parts of the game. Armor design team, map design team, online service team. They can work on more than one thing at a time. Also each issue takes it’s own time to fix/create.
I too want all the broken things to be fixed. I will not come back until they are fixed. But I understand that the people who make the maps are not the ones working on the net code or UI.
