I thought you had to get a weapons before you start getting camos for it. I got a DMR camo before I even have a DMR to have the camo go on. I didn’t even know this was possible.

Na, I got weapon skins before I unlocked weapons.
I unlocked an SMG skin before I got the SMG itself as a REQ.

I would just think that by how many REQ packs I have open, I would get a DMR before I got a skin for it.

Skins are available for arena use as well so no. You dont need the weapon before the skins

Yea I understand. It can be frustrating but you’ll get it eventually.

They only get applied to starting weapons and I don’t think they are planning to have DMR’s be starting weapons anytime soon

Same here, I’m on rank 35, still don’t have DMR, but got fade skin, like the games rubbing it in my face I don’t have the actual weapon. (Sniff) it hates me.

I feel you. One of my friends got a ultra rare skin for it. He still does not have one so he has a shinny thing that he can say that he has, but no one believes him
Its funny actually yesterday I opened a req pack and I got the certification for a DMR. Just a few games after I posted on here.
You are not alone. I too have a DMR skin but no DMR
A weapon skin is a cosmetic. It can be used in arena or anywhere you start with that weapon.
It is kinda ignorant to think the weapon skin can only be used on the weapon in warzone
Skins unlock for Arena so yeah.

In your post you only used DMR as an example. You stated that you thought you needed to get the weapon in a req pack before the skin but there is br and smg as well

Don’t you get those weapons in the first 5 levels or so? and I mean everyone gets them in the promotion packs.
That’s the point of the REQ system. It’s totally random. I like it that way!

I like it too, I just didn’t know it was that random. Most of my friends were surprised about it too. they also laughed a lot because I Jinxed myself too.
