honestly, halo should have used a different color because I have been on red team and not shot at a blue team with damage boost for this exact reason. It is not the best planning by 343. choose white or pink even. lol
Eh you get used to damage boost once you’ve seen it a couple of times. Problem is that not many people use it frequently (or have Nornfang/Jorge’s Chaingun) so unfortunate accidents are bound to happen.

Why don’t they have different colors that aren’t team colors like the over shield is green speed boost is purple an why not damage Boston be white or black or something not red blue and sometimes yellow

I remember being in the same situation. Feeling I had no time to react and counter, I just simply did what my instincts told me to. Then out of the blue I instantly betrayed my teammate.
