I just bought noble pack and anniversary pack. I find out I can only play 5/6 maps of anniversary in its own playlist. And cannot play noble whatsoever. 343, either you make the playlist for the dlc or give me my 800 msp back!
Okay first you had to be somewhat aware that DLC 3 years after the game came out won’t be as used as when it did. You knew what you were getting into. That is all i can say. maybe you shouldn’t of waited 3 years to buy the DLC or Reach even both. Sorry you were late to the party.
I went and took a quick picture for you of the screen that appears when you attempt to purchase/download the Noble Map Pack. It has a bit of text there which you agreed to when you made your purchase.
You were never promised a DLC playlist and you were never promised a place to play them in Matchmaking either.
I can tell you however that the Noble DLC is in other playlists of which you can find on the playlist page.

Yeah, he’s late to the party and it sucks that neither he nor most of us can get to enjoy a match in any of those maps. Perhaps he truly didn’t know what he was getting into. Regardless, it still sucks that 343 decided not to keep a DLC playlist for Noble and Defiant when those maps are good and there are achievements tied to each pack.

Hmm if they are not playable, how about 343 stops selling them as well? I appreciate a working product. No wonder Halo 4 has lost a majority of its players. 343 keeps on screwing people over with this type of stupidity

I can agree with this. If 343 has the gall to remove DLC playlists from the game, then why do they still allow that same DLC to be purchased?
Answer: Because it’s Microsoft. Their tactics behind anything that involves electronic payment is highly questionable.
OP, if you really want a refund I suggest you start at the bottom (customer service), then when you get denied you start to work your way up the chain of command. It’s very easy to find emails to related CEO’s and executives if you do some searching. Stay respectful; screaming, threatening and demanding will only get you further ignored.

Because 343 has no say in what happens with the DLC the Marketplace once they finish developing it, that is the XBL Marketplace team. All 343 do is produce the product, then hand it over to the MArketplace team to decide on a price and make it available. Same thing applies with Halo 4 and its DLC.
As for the refund, it is Microsoft’s policy (which is clearly stated on DLC descriptions) that no refunds will be given on digital content. This is something that wont change no matter how many people you contact, since you contractually agreed to this when you agreed to Xbox Live’s Terms of Use when you made your XBL account.
Also, technically the DLC maps are available, you just have to be lucky enough to match up with a party of people who all have the required DLC. Then the maps may show as voting options. But at this time in the game’s life, the majority of players with DLC have moved onto other games, so chances are you will very rarely get the maps.
I played on DLC maps the yesterday, just because there isnt a playlist for them doesnt mean they dont come up.

It seems more to me that you screwed yourself over with a uninformed purchase.
The maps are good for something, y’know. Go get some friends for custom games, and enjoy. Noble maps are great for custom games, and also to note it was your uninformed purchase. Should have played the game and seen if there was a playlist first if you wanted matchmaking. Also, if everyone has them, they come up. This is easiest in team slayer.
