Hey everyone! I’m very excited to announce that I just released an iOS app to let people around the world share a hub of the most recent custom games going on. As of now it’s for iOS, but if it’s used enough then I have no problem making it for Android and such. I thought having a handy little tool like this by your side when you’re playing Halo would be neat.
This is my very first app and I’m really excited to have it accepted by Apple, it was a long process. For months I’ve been excited at the thought of finishing it and showing it to you guys and a few others, and now it’s finally time!
The main benefit of showing this off here is obviously to have it get some usage, but mainly I’d love any suggestions for the app or what could make it better, feel free to let me know on here. It’s very simplistic right now and I’d love to implement new ideas so people can have a great time playing custom games with people again on Halo from all over the world.
Even though i won’t be using it nor do i care for custom games; i thank you for trying to find a solution and taking the time to do something instead of crying on the forums.
If more people did stuff like this than the community would be very different. Hope everything goes well.
This is amazing news
Does it tell you whether or not it’s on H3, Reach, or H4? And does it tell you who’s hosting it and how many people are playing so you can jump in? That’d be neat. Also, if it takes off I’d love to get it for android and have a tool to sort of get your word out that you have customs going on. I always feel so awkward messaging a bunch of people I just played with
Revolutionary! The next big thing is here!
Now, if only someone could invent a way so my headphone cords don’t get tangled when i plug them into my phone…
Thanks Milk! I always felt strange too, I just thought it’d be great just to find people wanting to play customs right off the bat. There is no way to tell what version of Halo they’re playing, but that can definitely be in an update!
Not gana lie, really cool app, my only suggestion is to add a button to the cards when viewing the info of the game which sends a message to the person who made the ad on xbox saying “send me an invite!” So that way it is a pretty seamless experience.
PERFECT! We just need more people to know about this, its gonna get real big, real quick (Thats what she said) but in all seriousness thanks, this is awesome!
