I can't wait until cross-core becomes a thing

Like I know that ODST-type content is coming to the Rakshasa armor core sometime this season, but if cross core is applied before that is done; then this is what ODST fans will be doing until that pack comes out.

Crosscore doesn’t always work as some things will have clashing styles, but as you can see; it worked WONDERS for this combo.

It would be good, I’m trying to build Naomi 010 armor set, only need cross core for that because apparently Naomi 010 has Mark V [B] helmet I guess?

Not only that but you can also build multiple armor looking, it would be so nice, but I am sure that when they bring it, armors will look Overlapped or so xD
That’s why Unysheck said they would have to check helmet by helmet, shoulder by shoulder etc, and therefore make it available for any armor

Pretty sure they mentioned they got problemns implementing cross-core.
But that coatings and visors was something that will first be fixed as cross-core.

I’d be happy to use cross-coatings and cross-visors in the short-term. Having white Reach Mk V armor again would be fantastic.

Im excited too! I can’t wait to use my Commando helmet across the line

Cross coatings would have to be implemented as well so we could actually color our Rakshasha armor black.

I can’t wait to see how cross-core fixes absolutely nothing in regard to what the community wants.

Like cool, they gave us cross-core, but now what? Instead of barely having any armor in just one set, we now have barely any armor in all the sets. Not to mention that a majority of the armor that does exist is reused from previous games, a lot of it isn’t earned and therefore meaningless.

Then we get to the issue with colors. All the colors, unless you decided to buy some from the store, are honestly trash.

I’m having a hard time understanding why people think this is such a win. It fixes nothing. Just because you take Tylenol to fix a muscle ache doesn’t mean you don’t still have the flu.

Bro do you wake up and choose violence?

No one here is saying it’ll fix everything, we’re saying we’re happy to use the armor we do have and will have to mix and match as we see fit.

That’s a step. Everyone here already knows and or agree with most of the standpoints regarding color, lack of armor, armor earn/to buy/ BP ratios, and even custom colors.

I’ve seen most of the people here comment about those exact same things elsewhere.

I get you’re angry, we’re all angry. But why are you aiming that at others in the forums?

Because he’s rightfully pissed that despite the fact this game is an absolute CF with TONS of problems at its core, people ***** about the lack of cross core customization as if it was an incredible oversight by the devs, while at the same time one of the main reasons this game is in such a bad state right now is because of the hyper focus on selling cosmetics.

As for the OP, cross core customization shouldn’t be a thing. It will make tons of forgettable cosmetics even more forgettable.

I can’t wait until 343 comes out of this beta and actually makes a game. Cross-core won’t really improve things, and you should know by now with 343’s “great ideas” that it won’t be anything like you would hope.

Just saying, looking at all the years they had there is no excuse you or anyone, let alone 343 can come up with to justify their poor decisions. (343 has literally had since Halo 4 to figure this out with all the feedback from the community all these years.) This isn’t about “issues 343 claims” this is about the poor decisions they made, and one of the dumbest decisions they made was making the shop a priority that (has literally effected your options.) A choice they made over designing a system that would work for the players as well as themselves.

343 needs to actually start improving things, and they can start be doing right by their player base. Basic things in a game shouldn’t be this much off a problem for any company in this entire world, especially knowing all the years they had to work with this.

There’s plenty of current core items that clash already, like the MK 7 has afew shoulders now that go through/ poke out of the helmet or chest attachments. Its minor, but im willing to accept this sort of thing for more variety

I can’t wait until armor coatings specifically go cross core so I can have good colors to choose from for all the event cores. The color choices on everything but Mk V and Mk VII are a joke

So it’s okay to take that frustration out on others in the forum? As I’ve said before most of not everyone here has ALREADY been in a number of those forums complaining about the same thing outside of customization involving gameplay and functionality.

All anyone here is doing is enjoying the prospect of cross core. With all the anger and toxicity, (can’t say I don’t post angry), this thread and few others like it discuss the few possible positive things.

So forgive me if I happen to see little to no legitimacy in you’re argument or his that we fellow players are delusional for having a small glimmer of hope in this otherwise horrid game.

He’s rightfully pissed because some people want one of the things they tightly knit behind microtransactions to be broadened?
Woooooow.

I’m calling out the stupidity in even asking for this to be a feature. It’s so far from what actually needs to be done, that it’s laughable.

I honestly believe that, just because a large portion of the playerbase is demanding that the game release content that’s been in every other Halo game, that it gives people like OP the confidence to go on asking for features that are literally irrelevant. There’s a whole novel of things that should be changed/added before anyone should even consider cross-core.

The last thing we need is a severely underworked/low-skilled game staff to have their focus diverted even further from what actually needs to be done.

Naomi-010 is wearing MJOLNIR Mark VII Gen-I, which is derived in design from the Mark V Bravo design.

Honestly if they put in a Mark VII Gen-I Armor Core, I think it should look something akin to this image below, though with a different helmet to look like something between Mark V Bravo and Mark VII - A Mark VI Bravo if you would.

I don’t disagree that’s it’s not a priority. No one here is saying it is. The whole point of this thread is enjoying possibilities since we know it’s coming eventually

No one’s saying youre wrong but the point of bringing it up here the way you’re bringing it up seems… Misdirected? Take a moment to step back and realize that.

No one disagrees that the core dynamics of the game need to be fixed before features like cross core; a not to hard to argue is less then immediately needed, are added in.

But perhaps there’s a better way to display these points than to call the positive outlooks of players stupid?

Crosscore should have been in the game from the start. Hell, the cores system shouldn’t have even been implemented. I highly doubt 343 will actually allow complete cross-core customisation. Doesn’t net them enough money doing that.

I agree with the first sentence.
I disagree with the second.

Halo 4, much as I hate that game, at least let you completely change the armor you wore.
Halo 3 and Halo Reach just let you apply attachments to your armor and change helmets.

The Cores system allows you to change what armor base you are applying attachments towards.
Had it let us have cross-core to begin with; the system would be perfect.

With fully complete canon cross-core you’d have roughly this available from a variety of events and both battlepasses;

25 Helmets
20 Chests
23 Shoulder Sets
8 Gloves
8 Wrist Attachments
8 Utilities
12 Knee Pads

I think that’d be pretty awesome. But, even then it doesn’t look great in the face of all the locked/monetized stuff.

And unfortunately, it’ll take us a while to reach that point. So long that we’ll never ever catch up as more stuff is released.
