Is it ironic that your reply made no sense?
I like the game, the fact they actually did something with CSR, but what is stupid is it being reset.
How would you feel if you got to 130 and they reset you? It’s the same concept, you’re working towards a goal you’re not allowed to keep. Which in turn is giving me zero reason to worry about my CSR and what level i’m on.

I saw your recent posts, all you do is whine at the people who are angry and unsatisfied with what 343 has done with Halo, which technically makes you worse.

Oh I’m sorry that 343i made a broken game, that they released said broken game for £40 ($60), that they waited half a year to implement a fraction of what is missing from said broken game.

Acting surprised about non-visual CSR indicates that you simply do not want to understand.
343i were up front in telling us that it was not happening. You don’t want to understand. Hence you create a thread acting like what you are saying is a revelation, when in actuality 343i told us about no CSR before the game was released.

Well maybe one day the Halo forums can be used for actual discussion of the game by people who enjoy playing it rather than thread after thread of people telling 343 how to make it better/complaining about things that will never change.
I pray for a day when I come on and see a full page of “Need help on LASO Composer”, “Best episode for Hunter killer commendation?”, “How to get better with sniper?”,“Heres a vid of me going 25-0!”

If I wanted to read all your ‘feedback’ on the game I’d be on the feedback board. Unfortunately the entire forum has been infected by it.

Anyway, they’re only going to be resetting if cheating gets bad. It’s not like they’ll wake up one day and go “Hey, wanna piss somebody off?” and then press the rank reset button that they keep on them all the time with the express purpose of resetting your ranks whenever they get angry at you.

That’s precisely why rank resets are needed. Gamers are like children, they are incapable of following the rules, and if there is a system to abuse they will.
Unfortunately it’s a necessary evil. Either you accept rank resets or you get behind progressive rank, period.
There is also the possiblity of (major) playlist changes. For example if 343 decided to move all CTF games into Team Obj they would need to reset the ranks for that playlist, however I’m not sure if they can do this without resetting them all… :S
Your highest CSR will remain on your player card even after the reset, so rest easy my friend.

Its other xbox games that are killing halo dude…
If halo came out 6months before xmas it may have more interest, but with the future bf4, COD, GTA V, halo is being killed by other games, all three of them game i just mentioned differ in online gameplay, halo 3 would also fit that, halo 4 doesnt feel different enough, and in-game CSR wouldav helped it be different, not knowing what your opponents rank is, is a terrible mistake. single player was beautiful in everyway! hence the reviews, hence the popularity for first month or so! But once everyone finished campaign and spartan ops, halo isnt different enough. soo sorry dude, we arent killing halo, other games are! When your switching between halo waypoint and matchmaking for ‘fun’ with about 300 other players, while everyone else is playing a game with 100,000’s of people, you may realise the criticisms you read here, didnt kill halo.
343 will probably reset players that get their 50 and don’t play that game mode after that at all.
They will reset them to get them to play it again.
I think its a smart idea to keep boosters and cheaters out. If I’m good enough to hit 50 once, I should be good enough to do it again.
