I can't take it anymore

I’m officially not playing this poorly developed game until they can learn to properly patch the game. I have had the main menu music bug 8 times since the patch. That’s like 1/4 games I play. I can’t take listening to that music any longer. You can’t play well with it. There is so much you miss not having sound. How am I supposed to play at a decent level with this bug?!! Its come to the point where I’m forced to just resign if I know I’m up against a decent opponent.
This should be embarrassing for these developers. You delay the patch for an extended period of time and you still can’t get it right. You delayed it for a game breaking bug? Well this is a game breaking bug you’ve missed. I know the population isn’t great so you probably have only so many resources, but figure it out. It happened to me in the first 5 games I played after the patch came out. HOW HARD IS IT TO TEST YOUR GAME BEFORE RELEASING? Quite frankly, I wouldn’t be surprised if they knew about it and just decided they had delayed the patch long enough already they just wouldn’t fix it. I simply can’t see how this would have fallen through the cracks. And I know I’m not the only one dealing with this. I get messages all the time saying I couldn’t play well I had that sound bug.
If I was to have this kind of performance at my job, I’d be fired. “So yeah boss I got that project you wanted me to get done. Sorry it was late. Oh, and by the way while working on that I completely broke another part of the project, but that shouldn’t be a big deal. Just send it out to the customer. Who cares if the product is messed up. I got the other portion they wanted done.”

I’m happy the patch released when it did. I can live without sound. I honestly listen to pandora while playing, so not having sound really isn’t a big deal to me. My advice is to learn to use the D-pad functions to stay on top of everything.

Are you saying to randomly hit D-pad-right in hopes that you catch every notification? Without a sound cue you miss so much.

The D-pad isn’t going to give you all the information you get from in game-sound. Listening to music while playing with the sound still on is quite different from listening to music with no sound.

One cycles bases, one cycles grouped units, and another does recent notifications. Honestly, it’s not too difficult if you’re cycling through and making smart decisions. Then there’s also the unit lost notifications and the mini map to help. It’s definitely workable and if anything it would make someone better at the game.

does is fix the sound issue? No, but it’s an alternative that helps better the player.

I’m sorry that you’ve got this game breaking bug (sounds like it really sucks, fortunately I’ve never had it) but that’s no reason to attack the developers. Make a bug report and hope they can fix it next update.

Actually it’s a perfect reason, they’ve done a very poor job supporting this game. I’m allowed to call them out on it. I’ve spent nearly $100 on this game. I want it to work. And you me to just wait happily for another month and a half for the next patch so I can play again? What a joke

Ive gotten this bug quite a bit after coming out of sleep mode, or when I have been switching from other applications(Netflix/TV). Whenever I want to play I always fully close the game and restart it, and I havent seen it since I did that. Have you tried that?

I full agree with you, I simply cant play like that, I just resign most times if it happens now.

I get it without switching games or coming out of apps. I do restart the game every couple games as well. Doesn’t seem to help.

I’ve had that happen once and it was a hassle to continue on with the game, especially since I wasn’t getting full alerts on combat situations… thankfully I was in a party so they would let me know when something dire was happening.

Thats brutal. I’d be just as frustrated as you.
