This req system is the biggest piece of bull–Yoink- I have ever seen. I grind all day and night and will never get a single req that is good! I’m am disappointed 97% of the time and it a complete waste of time. No matter what you do its all worth nothing, you racket get your most wanted and if you do it takes until your rank 90!!! I want the progression system back so at least you know what you have to do to get what you want and are just hoping for something you might not ever get!

It is meant to be random in order to keep the population interested, because you may never know what you get. Just yesterday, I got a legendary Locus helmet, and that has kept me interested in gaining more REQ points. Go for silver and gold packs, and you should get some pretty good stuff.
It’s certainly different, but I find it to keep my interest. I like saving up 100,000 rp and buying 10 gold packs. It’s a lot of fun.
You need to do a progression through req packs start with bronze, then move to silver, then to gold. I did it that way and now I’m stuck working on getting all my gold stuff not to mention with the monthly update I’ll have to go back and get some stuff from silver and bronze again. If your in it for power weapons then I can see why your frustrated, in which case I would say your clouded by your greed. The req system is set up so that no one player can ever be more powerful then all the other players. It’s fairly balanced.

I’ve bought millions of both and can’t get anything. There is only one armor I want and I just feel like I’m wasting my time!

I don’t care about weapons I just want mark 4 and and never getting it. I’ve bought as many silver as I can and just can’t seem to get anything decent I’ve gotten two good reqs. The fotus helmet and the argus and that’s is it. I have 15 rare helmets left and 15 rare armies left and I still can’t get a thing

I just miss reached system where at least you know what you had to do in order to get something you weren’t just stuck waiting and hoping

the system has real issues.
loadout weapons should not be randomly obtained. Cosmetics should not be taking up slots given the current randomness. Certifications are garbage as a random unlock.
Weapons and vehicles should be in the maps and begin spawning as the match progresses in addition to being called in special. Certifications should be based on in-game kills- get 15 kills with a plasma pistol… bam Certification! now you get them in packs. Cosmetics should be purchased directly with req points or carry in-game perks if they’re going to be random unlocks. loadout weapons should be based on spartan rank, possibly as a 1 match unlock that you can get until a permanent unlock occurs.

Great feeling. I’m not looking forward to all the rainbow guns in the next update though.

That sucks for you - I strongly recommend gold packs until you get one. I was lucky and got a level 7 DMR before I even played WZ for the first time, from a gold pack.

Indeed, going the Bronze-Silver-Gold is more entertaining I found, and more effective as well because you accumulate a lot of lower level stuff that can be quite useful in Warzone(such as lvl 1 speed cards) without feeling such a grind.
Now, after weeks of playtime, I finally maxed Silver and Bronze, and the Gold packs are way more fun now because I only get ultra rares and legendaries.
On the plus side, you’ll eventually get everything, but it may take you a year to get it depending on how much you play.

I think millions is a bit of a hyperbole. But ya it does kinda suck I get disappointed a lot too but it’s fun in a way.
Not gonna lie, or be ashamed - I bought a buttload of Gold Packs. Mainly 'cause I was chasing helmets and armors. I got impatient. Yeah, I got a lot of vehicles & weapons, but none have been a for-sure game winner when used (Scorpions, Wraiths & Mantis’s are deathtraps when I use them, good way for me to die fast). It’s made it more fun, mainly.
Of course, my credit card bill made me a little queasy…
There are just too many of each armor set that it’s a waste of space.
I completely agree with you OP to get this really good reqs it feels like you either need to spend a lot of money or put a ton of hours into the game
