how do you follow people or new post on this new halo waypoint

I don’t think you can follow people but you can follow topics.

At the bottom of a post there is a bell icon next to the word ‘normal’, you can click it & use that to follow topics that you wish to follow, you can track & mute topics from there

I think you’ve already figured out how to make a topic, if you want to reply to people use the ‘reply’ button at the bottom of a topic or on the bottom right of a specific reply you wish to respond to.

Multiplayer is free to play and campaign has to be purchased if you don’t have at least a game pass subscription. Also as far as I know the battle pass is a one time purchase and I think it only covers the multiplayer.
