I CAN'T SEE BECAUSE OF THE SUN ON BTB MAPS

PLEASE SORT OUT THE RIDICULOUS SUN GLARE IN THE BTB MAPS.

IT’S LIKE IM LOOKING AT THE ACTUAL SUN. I FIND MYSELF ACTUALLY SQUINTING WHEN I LOOK AT IT.

OTHERWISE THANKS FOR THE UPDATE 343, LOVING HALO 5 RIGHT NOW

On the standoff remake, the player who keep their back to the sun has a definitive visual advantage. The glare was so bad once that I actually couldn’t see the person I was shooting at, at ALL. They were completely enveloped in light lol

Granted this only happens at a specific angle, it’s still annoying.

Ha, this does give an advantage to those not looking towards it. I haven’t had any trouble with it. But it’s funny to hear how big of a problem it is! Hope it gets sorted.

You’re just wearing the wrong visor color. A lot of players don’t realize visors have more then just an aesthetic purpose.

Legendary visors act as “sunglasses” for the Spartan, diminishing glare.

They should add a big magnifying glass for mini game’s.

Everyone has to run around the map like little helpless ants, while the chosen one gets to use a burning beam of light to beam down and chase the helpless spartans around the map. Burning everyone in sight. Hmm…Bwahh hah hah ha ha!!

Yeees!..run little demons

…are you serious? Like really, are you serious about that? Because that’s sorta messed up, that means a cosmetic unlock would change performance to a degree, something that 343i SWORE wouldn’t happen.

Can I see a video of this or something?

Funkyfresh,
Looks like you got one.

For all of 5 seconds after a google search. And that’s assuming that believed him in the first place. Hence asking if he was serious.

I think the glare is awesome. #powerposition

Yeah, I was pretty lucky to get one in an early REQ pack.

This made me laugh out loud while I’m at work and so true.

I haven’t unlocked a visor that I’m so happy with, the gold one looks to sunny the black to dark. I’m using the blue one but it makes half of the maps look cold. I need just a little tint, and I’ll be fine.

It’s funny, I thought about this very thing yesterday as I walked towards the one base on Standoff where it seems the most glaring & wondered if anybody else noticed or it was a problem for anybody else. I think there is a definite advantage to one side there. It kind-of reminds me of Battlefield 3 on Xbox 360 when it first shipped, it had a super sun glare & they end up reducing it by a certain percentage over time. (Damavand Peak comes to mind)

All they need to do is raise or lower the sun so it is balanced between the 2 teams. Quite a few topics on this so no doubt in my mind 343 will resolve the issue. I don’t mind the realistic sun, but it needs to be balanced between both teams.

Easy solution would be a tinted visor for us. Limousine black.

Then you would not be able to see in the dark areas.
Easy solution will be to move the sun somewhere that is balanced between the 2 teams.

Try playing on the burning shrine on destiny, you cant see -Yoink-

Yeah I am not liking the glare as well.
