Why are more people playing normal playlists then evolved? Why do people choose Team slayer rather than super slayer which in my opinion is far supperior, less bloom, magnum tweaked, most of the starts are DMR’s or Pro.Why is my question.
Because TU is largely disliked and unwanted by most of the people who play the game.
And why is that?
Because it changes the game drastically and was pretty much forced upon us when it was released (It is also a change that we didn’t want).
Halo Reach was fine as it was and then TU comes along and makes the game easier in all the wrong ways (Faster to die, less recoil and worthless shields).
Thank you very much for your answer, I guess I will give it a good old college try.
To be honest I’ve never played Super slayer before… At least I don’t think so, if it’s update like you said in those points, I’ll give it a shot!

People have many different opinions. My opinion even though I’ve not played it or even play matchmaking in general, it sounds too easy. People like a challenge, not a tea party that will end in either a thrashing or a close game because no matter the skill, weapons take a few hits to kill. People want different skilled ability groups/ members to work with and fight/ battle against.

Actually - it makes it harder. Reach wasn’t really fine as it was, pretty bad actually. TU was an attempt at damage control. It’s not that TU was disliked, Reach was disliked, hence the need for a “title update.” TU was better than Standard for some, but still not enough. Those people who would have played Super Slayer stopped because it wasn’t good enough, hence the massive population drop off Reach had compared to 2 and 3.
Reach was bad. TU didn’t help. People stopped playing Reach. Now whatever tiny inkling of players scuttles in the playlists meant for millions are all new gamers either trying to get some vague idea of what Halo was back in the day or attempting to give Reach another try. However, as previously stated, Reach as a whole wasn’t great to the community, TU was supposed to make it better, but it didn’t so the game lost a ton of it’s population. With standard being sucky and Super Slayer not much better there was no reason for the previously dedicated Halo fan base to keep playing.
