I’m currently living in Texas, US but I used to play with my friends in Asia.
However, I can’t search both arena and warzon when I party up with my friends, which is odd because it never happened in previous Halo games.
I understand to separate players by their regions for better ping and connection but isn’t it too much to block users to party up and search games? I have no one to play Halo together if I don’t party up with my friends.
I have the same problem. We have friends that we play games with in Australia. When they are in my fire team, I cant search for any type of game in matchmaking because “one or more members of my party have latency issues with the dedicated server”. Not cool to completely shut out playing with overseas friends, especially in such a connected world as ours. Other games we can play fine together, correction, EVERY game but halo 5 we can play together. This is supposed to be the latest and greatest, and it seems that we are taking steps backwards.
The second issue is two or more Xboxes on one internet can’t seem to connect to anything together in halo 5. This needs to be fixed 343. We get the no split-screen, we are cool with making everyone have their own Xbox; but now your shutting 20% of those split-screeners that live together (and now have 2 Xboxes) out of playing together.
The game is fantastic. We only ask to be able to play with our friends around the world and even in the same household. Please please please fix.
I got the same issue. There was 3 of us in a firefight team and we all live close. Sure it will be sorted soon tho.
hey guys, I just discovered one possibility recently.
It seems like I can search match when I have only 3 people in the fire team includes me. How do you guys think? do anyone have experienced problem to search when your fire team is smaller than 3 people?
343i have fixed this problem.
I can still see the message about the latency problem when I joined fire team with my friends in Asia, but I can still search matches when I press x or a button after message shows.
I do have some lagging problem but it’s still playable. Thank you 343i.
