I can't play this game.

I love the DMR. I love how little the armor abilities change the game. I love the fact that if my shot is better than someone’s, I can win even if they shoot first.

I have some small complaints about the game. I’d like to manually pick up the flag/oddball, and I’d like to be able to drop them. Otherwise, though, the core mechanics of the game feel great.

Unfortunately, I can’t play this game. I’m red-green colorblind, and the incredibly bright colors, while they may look nice, make it very difficult for me to see. I can’t make out anything on my radar. On Halo 3, and to a lesser extent, Reach, there was always a pretty sharp contrast on the radar.

Unless, of course, someone has an idea on how I can configure my monitor’s color settings to help with this. I can control red, green, and blue balance, as well as brightness and contrast. I’ve yet to figure out a way to be able to see my radar without squinting to the point my eyes hurt.

I’m sorry to hear that, friend, but it sounds like a personal problem.

like a personal problem?
To me its lack of time fixing things like that for those people

DICE had that already done for gamers to Battlefield 3

And Cod… yea… COD…! … even had a option for it

A personal problem? -Yoinking!- hell…
It’s not a personal problem at all. It’s just more proof of how little thought and effort 343i put into this game.

Personal problem? Color blindness of some form affects at least 7% of the male population. Assuming equal distribution of male and female purchases of Halo 4, around 3.5% of buyers may suffer from some color vision deficiency.

That’s actually quite significant. Of around 3 million copies sold, that would mean a little over 100,000 players may experience issues.

I’m not blaming 343 for being lazy or anything. I’m actually looking for some way of calibrating my monitor so my radar is something more than a big blue circle on my screen.
