I was so excited to play H5 last night staying up until 12 to finally play this epic game. I thought I would play 1, or 2 missions and then play a little multiplayer after and call it a night after that. I was so involved in the campaign that I couldn’t stop and finished it straight through! So here we are at about 7am this morning and I think “hey let me try this multiplayer out”. I search for a game, and couldn’t connect. I search for another game, and couldn’t connect. I tried this about 20 more times when I finally got into a game and ran over started shooting someone and disconnected! I then thought that I should call it a night as maybe there are server issues. Well I get up today at 3pm and immediately try again with no luck! So I head straight to Twitter and rant about how broken the game is and how disappointed I am in the multiplayer not working. I then do a little research and come to find that I’m seemingly the only person having ANY issues with the online! I’ve tried to play 50+ matches and the best I got was 15 seconds of gameplay and a first strike medal, then I disconnected like usual. This is so upsetting seeing how I’ve been playing halo for over 10 years now ever since I got the green Halo loimited edition original Xbox console in 2003 that came with Halo: CE. I took time out of my professional life to play this game at launch and I seem to be the only one who cant play it. Please let me know if any of you may have had problems connecting to matches and please let me know if anyone can help. Thanks so much!
Yeah I had no problems with multiplayer yesterday, but today I can’t join any matches. It gets to 4/4 starting game then disconnects and I get an Unable to join error. I tried MCC and had no issue playing a complete match.
Try resetting your router? It sounds like an issue on your end, if all else fails i’d contact your ISP, maybe they’re having issues.
Yeah preferably the issue might be on your side. I had no issues playing Halo yesterday and today.
Your router may be dying and dropping signal then reattaining that signal. It happened to mine with the router I got from my ISP.
