I’m pretty sure people have seen this vid by now but this somes up so many of the games basic problems:
i stopped playing after week 1. moved on to black ops 2, which i was pleasantly surprised with. it is twice the game halo 4 is.
halo 4 just has better graphics and thats because it is much more linear with less on screen then blops 2.
have been watching the online population tho and it tells me that i’m not going to come back anytime soon. maybe when the first map pack is released.

I’ve heard good things about Black Ops 2 - is it as good as modern warfare 2 MM? If it is I know what I am getting for x-mas.
As for Halo coming back/recovering, if the other 2 games are like this one I hope it dies now instead of two more horrible games.
I originally stopped playing Halo 3 because the BR was soo OP compared to other weapons, In reach i only played Invasion.
But in 4 without bloom the DMR is too OP.
Thats just my main problem there are many more.
Same here. This game is extremely boring. i’m aren’t even able to stand more minutes playing it.
-DMr and bR overused and overepowered.
-Lack of intersting mods.
-Extremely bad servers.
-AStupid rank system.
As soon as I get the armour I want from the multiplayer specific challenges, I won’t play much multiplayer I don’t think. You hardly get any XP from it anyway…

the multiplayer isn’t the best but its good. I think blops 1 had the best then this one is tied with MW2 in MM.
the campaign is by far one of the best in any FPS game. you make choices that affect the ending. theres at least 4 different endings and you’re making choices through, saving or killing people. its great.
and zombies is zombies, its awesome.

Thank you good sir I will get it for x-mas immediately with the money I get from trading in Halo 4 - Halo 3 will do fine for me online.

They should have made Zombies a campaign with an end… Then it would be awesome.
I cant play CoD anymore either, its just like Mario now same released over and over again.
I think the game is just as much fun as ever, Maybe try big team? It’s like an all out war LOL

Yeah BlOps2 is a good game compared to Halo 4, they even having a ranking system wish is good.
I tried Big Team every game is laggy as hell.
Desperate for attention? Or just trying to prove to 343 the game is “broken”?

yeah zombies should of had a story. the transit mode is kinda boring for what they want you to do but with the crap to build and the bus its really fun.
See, I don’t know what all the fuss is about. Chances are, you’re only bad. And that’s coming from me. My favorite weapon is the DMR even though I end up losing to it.
Ultimately, it’s all on how you use it. If someone’s better than you, then suck it up. Just sayin’.
I have to ask this question, if you expected the game be just like halo 3 or Reach then what would be the point in making a new game?
I’m not defending Halo 4’s short comings, there is a lot that I would like to see fixed. Notable examples are fixed, rather than rotating, playlist options, and bringing back previous game types like firefight and invasion. However, balance is not one of the broken things in this game. For every AA there are multiple counters. The specializations don’t give that much of an advantage. And yes some people are higher ranked than others and have unlocked things that others haven’t. You know what that means? You just have to play better than they do.
So far all I’ve seen on these forums is “waaa! Active camo is over powered” “waaa! The game is balanced” and lastly “waaa! It’s not halo 2, 3, or Reach!” Guess what, it’s still Halo, but they can’t follow those old formulas forever. In fact it was because halo 3’s multiplayer was almost the exact same thing as halo 2 that Modern Warfare was able overtake halo 3 in the multiplayer charts so quickly.
I’ll cut this short, it’s not perfect, but it still plays like halo just with more customized options. But if they constantly made new halo games but added nothing new to multiplayer, then really there would be no point in adding multiplayer to each new halo, and people would ultimately get very board very quickly. But if you’re that unhappy with it then hop aboard the whambulance and get moving.
