I can’t open my gift gold pack in Halo 5.

Gift gold packs can only be given to others. You can’t actually open it yourself.

Its solely for gifting to other players. you can’t actually open it yourself. When you click on it there should be some sort of “Gift” option.

Click on it like you would be opening it normally, and there should be some sort of “Gift” option. If you press that your friends list should be brought up and you can select someone to send it to from there.

I believe there is a thread in the main Halo 5 forums that you can use to find another user to gift your pack to. I’ll see if I can find that for you
