Ok this is really bothering me
I cant join any of my friends period.
I have open NAT and my internet is 100k down und 7k up.
On my PC everything works and i have to speak with my friends with Teamspeak
because i cant even hear someone in the xbl party chat.
I can only play Matchmaking ALONE.
This is not okay 343 and Microsoft!
Can you join custom games? Because if you can’t I am having the same problem. I haven’t tried multiplayer with friends but I assume it wouldn’t work since I can’t join friends in custom games either.
There is one specific type of unjoinable friends that I found a workaround for. If your Xbox’s settings are set to “Instant On” and you leave Halo “running” while your Xbox is in standby mode, you will be unable to join friend upon returning to Halo until you restart the game. The workaround is just going to the dashboard, pressing the menu button, and quitting Halo, then restarting it after a few seconds. The way you will know that it is this kind of glitch is it will say that they are in your game, you can even kick them or promote them to leader, but they are not in your game. If these are not the symptoms you are experiencing, then this workaround may not work.
