I have 10 years of experiences with clans. Its a joke for me. I am sangheili not spartan and halo 5 is not my game. And if you aks me, if recruting members for you clan isn’t going well, you have two options. You can join another Clan instead of having you own or you could make you Clan so unique, that people come to you on their own.
I had the same problem when I tried to open up a clan. I tried for weeks and nothing worked. In the end i decided to join someone else.
After almost one year, I almost took over the clan (It actually go offered to me). Just keep trying and improving you clan. Make it unique. But you should not be so negative about everything. Nobody wants to join you then.

Basically what I said, yes.
From the sounds of it, its a situation of calcification or adaptation; if he wants to stay as a Sangheili then he’s not going to get much in the way of recruits or attention because the last game to have playable ones was two games ago and Reach isn’t all that populated these days.

Then it sounds like your problem is with Halo 5, not the community. If you can’t evolve to keep pace with everyone else then Im sorry to say you’re not going to get anyone for your clan.
Even the Sangheiili themselves changed in the lore did they not? When faced with extermination by the Jiralhanee they rose and joined with the humans to strike the Covenant down.

I thought I would bold a few things that I am about to talk about but first, a general comment. Please proofread your posts, I spent probably about an hour trying to make sense of your posts.

Your friends may say that Halo 5 is a bad game, however, opinions are primarily subjective. I bet that they played for a few weeks and then they decided that it was a bad game and haven’t played since. Halo 5 is a mediocre Halo game but it’s still better that most of the FPS games on the market. Is this subjective? A little bit but I do have some objective reasoning behind it. Halo 5 uses a competitive mindset in it’s arena modes. Although the game lacked content a launch, at least 343i didn’t leave it like that like a lot of other game developers do.
There are no Sangheili clans on Halo 5. How do I know this? If there are Sangheili clans on Halo 5 the people are just simply retarded and all they are using is a Sangheili ranking system as opposed to normal military. The are still a military based clan though. And as for the second part, do you know what Sangheili names mean? Do you understand them? I think not.

Halo is made to empower noobs, the skill gap has nearly vanished because anyone in the game can use an SMG or AR and map positioning is nearly irrelevant because double-teaming with with ARS beats any skilled player and that person can’t jumps or hiding places. it’s all about how you are set up and also your personal skill. Rushing people and chasing takes no skill. i can’t tell you how i had 2 people sprint up to me and mow me down with assault rifles, how on earth am I supposed to escape if they chase me without my shields recharging while i’m running away. if I use my skills that i learn from halo reach on halo mcc I’m ok on mcc when halo 5 get my butt kick. tell me this how I’m doing good on halo reach be on halo 5 I’m bad. I’m not bad player I’m a good player. if I can get 31 kills and 5 deaths on halo reach be halo 5 I get 5 kills and 11 deaths and don’t call me a noob that might be your final answer i always get that answer from idiot. oh ya look on my halo reach profile and halo 5 which one I am doing good is it halo reach or halo 5 answer that question for me.

Like most people has said in this topic, I run a UNSC Clan, we are struggling to find members but we still motivate ourselves to keep pushing. Most of my Clan compose of UNSC Community Spartan II’s, Spartan III’s and Spartan IV’s. But that’s just how we do things.
Find something you really want to do for clan, then go for it, find some allies, affiliates, play some halo. Your bound to get some recruits for your Spartan Company.

I can see that you are doing well in Reach. However, the reason you can’t use what you learned in Reach, in H5, is based on something hard-coded into the game. The base movement speed in H5 is slower and the bullet magnetism is higher. This makes the game more forgiving and more ‘noob friendly,’ so to speak. Perhaps ‘takes no skill’ was a poor choice of words. Maybe ‘takes minimal skill in playlists with autos’ would be a better choice?
I’m not going to call you a noob. In fact, I, quite frankly, find that to be a poor choice of words. What I will say is that you are a Halo veteran, like myself, that prefers the old experience to the new because of entirely logical reasons.
