Is 343 messing with us and these hideous helmets? They all look like a bunch of scraps were melded together. Example. This is by far the worst. I mean… I can’t see any redeeming quality about this. Example 2. You can’t tell me that the Halo 4 Hazop is better than the Reach’s Hazop. They have no character. They are just bits and bolts.

343, you need to reconsider your armory before you fail utterly.

I think they are saving the best stuff for later. I know I would. I do like some of the current ones but there are some that could use some improving with that I agree.

Anyways, I think it’s just new art team and all. Very…Un-bungie-like.

Not so much Un-Halo-like as some would claim, (I mean, c’mon Warrior is basically a fusion of Hayabusa and EOD) but still very…different.

It’s only a small portion of the actual armory. They have better ones in the game. Besides, Halo 3 and Reach had their share of ugly helmets.

These are probably the worst ive seen unfortunately, but I would bet that they have better ones coming. My only problem is that there are little to no visible visor on most of the helmets.

  1. the helmets and armor customizations don’t affect gameplay so they won’t be all that relevant to begin with.
  2. the helmets we have seen aren’t final, even though they’ll look a lot like the ones we have already seen they’ll likely do some tweaking.
  3. theres more helmets than the ones they’ve shown, even if those ones aren’t good enough for you I’m sure they’ll SOMETHING that will satisfy your (all so important) needs.

the helmets look incredible. you just need a bit of a higher resolution images of them.
and the texture to the visor needs to be fixed a little because it kind of blends with the helmet.

fail utterly… really, fail utterly… Why do you people assume if you don’t like something 343 will completely fail. There some really awesome lookin helmets like Deadeye or Warrior

Dude C’mon, 343i has stated HUNDREDS of timez that the game is still in pre-development!! They still got 4 more Months to improve your (our) concerns?

There will always be some armor that don’t match your preferences. Remember the game is still being tweaked though.

Not only do the helmets look bad the Spartans look like anorexic elites and the armor looks like it hangs off them.

Also Recon looks like military police.
